Oceanographic data collected during EX1704 (American Samoa and Cook Islands (Telepresence Mapping)) expedition on NOAA Ship OKEANOS EXPLORER in the South Pacific Ocean from 2017-04-04 to 2017-04-21 (NCEI Accession 0163356)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains oceanographic data collected in Apia, Western Samoa and Pago Pago, American Samoa. Operations for this cruise focused within the waters of Western Samoa, American Samoa, and the Cook Islands and included the use of the ship's Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP), Scientific Computer System (SCS) data acquisition system designed for oceanographic and fisheries applications, and the ship's high-bandwidth satellite connection for hourly data transfer, real-time ship to shore communications, real-time sonar control from shore, and real-time video streaming of sonar screens and ship's cameras. Data acquisition from shipboard sensors includes navigation data, meteorological data (wind, air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, radiation), and oceanographic data (thermosalinograph, remote temperature probe, sound velocity probe, bathythermograph).
Oceanographic data collected during EX1701 (Kingman/Palmyra, Jarvis (Mapping)) expedition on NOAA Ship OKEANOS EXPLORER in the South Pacific Ocean from 2017-01-18 to 2017-02-10 (NCEI Accession 0162263)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains oceanographic data collected in Pago Pago, American Samoa. Operations focused within several marine protected areas and included the use of the shipâs deep water mapping systems (Kongsberg EM302 multibeam sonar, EK60 split-beam fisheries sonars, ADCPs, and Knudsen 3260 chirp sub-bottom profiler sonar), and the shipâs high-bandwidth satellite connection for real-time ship to shore communications. Focused mapping areas occurred in the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument (PRIMNM) (U.S.) in the vicinity of Kingman Reef and Palmyra Atoll, and Jarvis Island, as well as in the Phoenix Islands Protected Area (PIPA) (Republic of Kiribati).
Oceanographic data collected during the EX2301: 2023 Shakedown + EXPRESS West Coast Exploration expedition on NOAA Ship OKEANOS EXPLORER in the North Pacific Ocean from 2023-04-13 to 2023-04-27 (NCEI Accession 0283599)

공공데이터포털
This dataset contains oceanographic data collected in several marine protected areas between Pago Pago, American Samoa and Honolulu, Hawaii. Operations included the use of the shipâs Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCP), Scientific Computer System (SCS) data acquisition system designed for oceanographic and fisheries applications, and the shipâs high-bandwidth satellite connection for hourly data transfer, real-time ship to shore communications, real-time sonar control from shore, and real-time video streaming of sonar screens and shipâs cameras. Operations were conducted in American Samoa, the Cook Islands, the high seas, Kiribati, Hawaii, and the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monumentâs (PRIMNM) Jarvis Island and Kingman Reef/Palmyra Atoll Units. Data acquisition from shipboard sensors includes navigation data, meteorological data (wind, air temperature, relative humidity, barometric pressure, radiation), and oceanographic data (thermosalinograph, remote temperature probe, sound velocity probe, bathythermograph).
