This dataset contains oceanographic water temperature profiles collected from XBTs aboard the platforms Josephine Maersk, Capitaine Quiros, and ANL Elaroo in the South Pacific Ocean, Tasman Sea, and Coral Sea from 2018-06-07 to 2018-12-03. These data were collected by the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) as part of the JCOMM Ship of Opportunity Programme and submitted by Rebecca Cowley of CSIRO as part of the Global Temperature and Salinity Profile Programme (GTSPP).

Wilhelmshaven, JPO Scorpius, Itajai Express, Maersk Taikung, TALLAHASSEE, ANL Warrnambool, and Santa Catarina in the Pacific Ocean, Indian Ocean, Greater Farallones National Marine Sanctuary, Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, and Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument from 2013-01-20 to 2013-12-10 and from 2021-12-13 to 2022-12-01. These data were collected by Scripps Institute of Oceanography (SIO), as part of the JCOMM Ship of Opportunity Programme and SIO High Resolution XBT/XCTD Network (lines i21, p09, p13, p37, p40, and s37) and submitted by Lisa Lehmann of SIO as part of the Global Temperature and Salinity Profile Programme (GTSPP).
