Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, pH on total scale, temperature, salinity and other variables collected from discrete sample and profile observations during the R/V Roger Revelle cruise CLIVAR I05 2009 (EXPOCODE 33RR20090320) in the Indian Ocean from 2009-03-20 to 2009-05-15 (NCEI Accession 0108075)
This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, pH on total scale, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-11, CFC-12), tritium, triter, dissolved organic carbon (DOC), total dissolved nitrogen (TDN) and sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) obtained during the R/V Roger Revelle cruise CLIVAR_I05_2009 (EXPOCODE 33RR20090320) in the Indian Ocean from 2009-03-20 to 2009-05-15. These data were collected by Rik Wanninkhof of NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML), Richard A. Feely of NOAA Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL), Andrew G. Dickson of Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO), and Dennis A. Hansell of Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS) as part of the CLIVAR_I05_2009 dataset. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
