Dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, pH on sea water scale, temperature, salinity and other variables collected from discrete sample and profile observations during the R/V Charles Darwin cruise CD139, CLIVAR I05 2002 (EXPOCODE 74AB20020301) in the Indian Ocean from 2002-03-01 to 2002-04-15 (NCEI Accession 0108226)
This dataset includes discrete profile measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon (DIC), total alkalinity, pH on sea water scale, temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, nutrients, chlorofluorocarbons (CFC-11, CFC-12, CFC113), carbon tetrachloride (CCL4), tritium, and helium obtained during the R/V Charles Darwin cruise CD139, CLIVAR_I05_2002 (EXPOCODE 74AB20020301) in the Indian Ocean from 2002-03-01 to 2002-04-15. These data were collected by AÃda F. RÃos of Institute of Marine Research Vigo (IIM), Marta Ãlvarez of Spanish Institute of Oceanography (IEO), and Harry L. Bryden of Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) as part of the CLIVAR_I05_2002 dataset. The International CLIVAR Global Ocean Carbon and Repeat Hydrography Program carries out a systematic and global re-occupation of select WOCE/JGOFS hydrographic sections to quantify changes in storage and transport of heat, fresh water, carbon dioxide (CO2), and related parameters.
