Landscape data compiled for fish health sites in and around the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.
These data include estimates of landcover and land use characteristics including high phytoestrogen crop cover, estimated pesticide applications, EPA PFAS facilities, nutrients from biosolids, and select climate (temperature and precipitation) variables summarized for several fish health sites in the eastern United States.

Attribution of fish sampling data to NHDPlus HR catchments within the Chesapeake Bay Watershed
공공데이터포털
This data release links fish survey data from a suite of programs in the Chesapeake Bay watershed to the NHDPlus High Resolution Region 02 networks, hereafter referred to as NHDPlusHR. The data set contains site name, survey program, coordinates of sample, ancillary information such as sample date and site location information where available, and HR Permanent Identifier. It also includes a confidence classification category for each of NHD assignment based on a set of pre-determined rules. In total there were 15 confidence categories ranging from high confidence to low confidence. We caution the use of sampling points which were given anything other than "high" confidence in their assignment to a given NHD catchment/flowline to avoid spurious/inappropriate attribution of geospatial data to fish data samples represented herein and refer the potential user to the Confidence Dictionary.csv which describes the criteria for each confidence category.

Chesapeake Stream Team Field Sites, 2021-2024
공공데이터포털
Each year from 2021 to 2024, teams from the U.S. Geological Survey and the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) studied 30 streams with a targeted gradient of land use and conservation practices across the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. The four years of the study cover the following geographic areas and land use characteristics (generally referred to as typologies in associated data sets): Shenandoah Valley and Ridge pasture Delmarva row crop Pennsylvania and Maryland Piedmont mixed agriculture Maryland-Washington, DC-Virginia developed Piedmont The data here provide site names and basic identifiers that are commonly used in the many data releases associated with the larger study and serve as a key to match site ID with locations and data. Specific site location is limited to a HUC12 scale due to requests of privacy from landowners who granted access and permission.

Biosolids Data Input Disaggregation from County to National Hydrography Dataset Plus
공공데이터포털
This metadata record contains two tables with reported and calculated amounts of biosolids applied to agricultural land within the Chesapeake Bay watershed in 2023 at different scales. Included in the dataset are (1) mass of land-applied biosolids calculated for NHDPlus Version 2.1 (NHDPlusV2) reach catchments in 2023 and (2) actual amount of biosolids applied to land by county in 2023 reported by states for the Chesapeake Assessment Scenario Tool (CAST) model.

SIR2005-5073 CBRWM watersheds
공공데이터포털
This is an ArcGIS dataset depicting watershed segments in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and adjacent states of New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Thirty-meter-resolution Digital Elevation Model data were used to delineate watersheds for each stream reach. State watershed boundaries replaced the Digital Elevation Model-derived watersheds where coincident. The data are projected to the UTM grid coordinate system - Zone 18 NAD27.
SIR2005-5073 CBRWM LandSegments
공공데이터포털
This data set is an ArcGIS shapefile depicting land segments in the Chesapeake Bay Watershed and adjacent states of New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee. Land segmentation was based on county boundaries represented by a 1:100,000-scale digital dataset. Fifty of the 254 counties and incorporated cities in the model region were divided on the basis of physiography and topography, producing a total of 310 land segments. The data are projected to the UTM grid coordinate system - Zone 18 NAD27.
