Eight conductivity, temperature and depth (CTD) casts made from R/V Pelagia and R/V E.O. Wilson in mouth of Mobile Bay and its environs, 2016-03-22 to 2016-04-19. The field campaign was part of a long-standing effort to understand the nature of buoyant freshwater plumes in shallow micro-tidal environments. Stations were re-occupied up to six times in the mouth of and just outside Mobile Bay, Alabama. Data include profiles of pressure, temperature, conductivity, salinity, oxygen, pH, beam attentuation, beam transmission, and particulate concentration and size distribution; measurements were obtained with a SeaBird SBE19+, a Seabird SBE25 Sealogger, and a LASER In-Situ Scattering and Transmissometry 100-X (LISST). CTD profiles are provided in cnv format, while total suspended solids, particle concentration, and particle size distribution are provided in plain ASCII text.

공공데이터포털
Eight conductivity, temperature and depth (CTD) casts made from the R/V Tommy Munro (TM:16-05) in the northern Gulf of Mexico, 2016-05-18 - 2016-05-19, in lease block GC248. The purpose of the cruise was to determine the hydrography in the area of GC248 in response to the Brutus rig discharge of approximately 88,000 gallons of crude into the Gulf of Mexico (2016-05-12). Data include profiles of pressure, temperature, conductivity, and salinity obtained with a SeaBird SBE19+ Seacat. Profiles are provided in hex and cnv format, accompanied by the original xmlcon file to enable export of derived variables.
TEMPERATURE, SALINITY, and CURRENT VELOCITIES collected from a long-term FOCAL mooring in the Gulf of Mexico from 2007-10-01 to 2016-08-19 (NCEI Accession 0248354)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and current velocities obtained from the long-term Fisheries Oceanography in Coastal Alabama (FOCAL) mooring operated by the Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL). The mooring is located at 30°05.410'N, 88°12.694'W, along the 20-m isobath about 25 km southwest of Mobile Bay, Alabama. This dataset contains non-continuous data collected between 2007-10-01 and 2016-08-19 using a variety of instruments, including thermistors, CTDs, and a bottom-mounted, upward-looking RDI 600 Workhorse Sentinel ADCP. Parameters include temperature; salinity; current vectors, speeds, and direction; dissolved oxygen and oxygen saturation; and sound velocity, although not all datasets contain each parameter. The data are in ASCII format, and the raw ADCP data is also included.
CTD, Oxygen, and others collected from R/V Atlantic/ALVIN in the Gulf of Mexico from 2014-03-31 to 2014-04-21 (NCEI Accession 0162834)
공공데이터포털
Hydrographic data were collected during cruise AT2613 using a CTD-rosette system aboard R/V Atlantis. We characterized the physical and chemical properties in the water column at brine pools and the ECOGIG seep study sites. The ship departed Gulfport MS on 03/29/2014 and collected samples at a variety of brine pools and ECOGIG sites before returning to Gulfport on 04/22/2014.

공공데이터포털
The accession contains several data sets collected during cruise P921 of the R/V Pelican as part of the Mississippi River Plume Hydrographic Study. Data submitted to NODC in delimited ASCII. One data set contains CTD (Depth, Conductivity, and Temperature data); file(s) also include salinity, dissolved oxygen, backscatter, transmissometer (turbidity), and pressure. This data does not include header information and was not able to be processed in a standard NODC format. Another data set contains Oxygen and Hypoxia data. Data was exported for NODC in delimited ASCII and is in spread sheet format. Third data set contains ADCP (Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler) data collected as part of LATEX (Louisiana-Texas) project. Data was exported for NODC in delimited ASCII. Fourth data set contains Chlorophyll (CHL), Phaeophytin, Salinity, Temperature, and Secchi Disc data. Data was exported for NODC in delimited ASCII and is in spread sheet format. Fifth data set contains Zooplankton data. All the data in this accession is considered INTERIM data; the originator's documentation and file record do not fully correlate with the actual number of files and data types submitted. Final data report was expected to be available by 08/31/93. The water column and sediment chemistry data includes water column salinity, pH, concentration of dissolved nutrients, dissolved gases, total particulate nitrogen (TPN), total particulate carbon (TPN), particulate organic carbon (POC), and particulate inorganic carbon data acquired from CTD casts and multiple corer drops. The elemental and isotopic data includes the delta 13C and 15N, total Nitrogen and Carbon, and the C/N ratio. The particle samples were collected using a CTD-rosette and a MOCNESS. The objectives were to characterize the physical and chemical properties in the water column at/near cold seeps in the northern Gulf of Mexico. All the data records also include sampling information (time, date, location, collection type, and depth).
