Fifty-five conductivity, temperature, and depth (CTD) casts made in mouth of Mobile Bay and its environs, 2015-09-20 to 2015-10-29. The field campaign was part of a long-standing effort to understand the nature of buoyant freshwater plumes in shallow micro-tidal environments. Data include profiles of pressure, temperature, conductivity, salinity, oxygen, pH, beam attentuation, beam transmission, and particulate concentration and size distribution; measurements were obtained with a Seabird SBE25 Sealogger, and a LASER In-Situ Scattering and Transmissometry 100-X (LISST). CTD profiles are provided in cnv format, while total suspended solids, particle concentration, and particle size distribution are provided in plain ASCII text.

공공데이터포털
Eight conductivity, temperature and depth (CTD) casts made from the R/V Tommy Munro (TM:16-05) in the northern Gulf of Mexico, 2016-05-18 - 2016-05-19, in lease block GC248. The purpose of the cruise was to determine the hydrography in the area of GC248 in response to the Brutus rig discharge of approximately 88,000 gallons of crude into the Gulf of Mexico (2016-05-12). Data include profiles of pressure, temperature, conductivity, and salinity obtained with a SeaBird SBE19+ Seacat. Profiles are provided in hex and cnv format, accompanied by the original xmlcon file to enable export of derived variables.
TEMPERATURE, SALINITY, and CURRENT VELOCITIES collected from a long-term FOCAL mooring in the Gulf of Mexico from 2007-10-01 to 2016-08-19 (NCEI Accession 0248354)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, and current velocities obtained from the long-term Fisheries Oceanography in Coastal Alabama (FOCAL) mooring operated by the Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL). The mooring is located at 30°05.410'N, 88°12.694'W, along the 20-m isobath about 25 km southwest of Mobile Bay, Alabama. This dataset contains non-continuous data collected between 2007-10-01 and 2016-08-19 using a variety of instruments, including thermistors, CTDs, and a bottom-mounted, upward-looking RDI 600 Workhorse Sentinel ADCP. Parameters include temperature; salinity; current vectors, speeds, and direction; dissolved oxygen and oxygen saturation; and sound velocity, although not all datasets contain each parameter. The data are in ASCII format, and the raw ADCP data is also included.
Tank water chemistry and mahi-mahi satellite tagging data and tracks from the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico from 2019-06-09 to 2019-08-26 (NCEI Accession 0253463)
공공데이터포털
This data package contains water chemistry data and mahi-mahi (Coryphaena hippurus) tagging data derived from research and fishing vessels. Mahi-mahi were tagged as part of a research cruise onboard the R/V F.G. Walton Smith 16-day research cruise WS19159 (2019-06-08 to 2019-06-23). Satellite tagging data and tracks were derived from mahi-mahi tagged with Wildlife Computers Inc. pop-up satellite archival tags (PSATs) programmed to collect light, depths, temperature, and acceleration values and then transmitted via the Argos satellite network. Tag data were collected in the Gulf of Mexico and Atlantic from 2019-06-13 to 2019-08-26. The dataset includes water chemistry data (temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, pH, ammonia, and Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs)) measured from onboard recovery/incubation tanks. Tagging data includes all the tagging information such as catch and releases location, fish size and condition, and associated tag number. Flow-through underway (surface water) environmental data collected for the duration of the cruise are available from Rolling Deck 2 Repository under Cruise ID WS19159.
CTD, Oxygen, and others collected from R/V Atlantic/ALVIN in the Gulf of Mexico from 2014-03-31 to 2014-04-21 (NCEI Accession 0162834)
공공데이터포털
Hydrographic data were collected during cruise AT2613 using a CTD-rosette system aboard R/V Atlantis. We characterized the physical and chemical properties in the water column at brine pools and the ECOGIG seep study sites. The ship departed Gulfport MS on 03/29/2014 and collected samples at a variety of brine pools and ECOGIG sites before returning to Gulfport on 04/22/2014.
Environmental profiles collected aboard NOAA Ship OREGON II during the 2006 SEAMAP summer groundfish survey in the Gulf of Mexico, 2006-06 to 2006-07 (NCEI Accession 0009540)
공공데이터포털
A total of 230 environmental profiles were acquired during the Southeast Area Monitoring and Assessment Program (SEAMAP) summer groundfish survey of the Western and North-central Gulf of Mexico conducted during June and July 2006 and aboard NOAA Ship Oregon II. The profiles were acquired between the 5 and 60 fathom isobaths at stations located east of the Mississippi River and in the area of Brownsville, Texas eastward to the Louisiana Bight. Maximum water depths recorded in the profile headers range from 8.8 to 245.0 meters with an average maximum depth of 39.7 meters. The survey is a stratified random design with depth interval, NMFS Statistical Subareas 11 through 21 and day and night as strata. The data were processed into 1 meter average depth bins of water temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen (DO), DO percent saturation, fluorescence, transmittance, density, and number of data records. The profiles were quality controlled during and after the cruise.
