A global monthly climatology of total alkalinity (AT): a neural network approach (NCEI Accession 0222470)
This dataset contains global monthly climatology of oceanic total alkalinity (AT). Total alkalinity (AT) monthly climatology was created from a neural network approach (Broullón et al., 2019). The neural network was trained with GLODAPv2.2019 data (Olsen et al., 2019) using as predictor variables position (latitude, longitude and depth), temperature, salinity, phosphate, nitrate, silicate and dissolved oxygen. The relations extracted between these predictor variables and AT were used to obtain the climatology passing through the network global monthly climatologies of the predictor variables: temperature and salinity fields of the World Ocean Atlas version 2013 (WOA13), filtered WOA13 oxygen (fifth-order one-dimensional median filter through the depth dimension; see Broullón et al., 2019 for details) and nutrients computed using CANYON-B (Bittig et al., 2018) over the three previous fields. The obtained climatology has a 1ºx1º spatial resolution and 102 depth levels between 0 and 5500 m, with a monthly resolution from 0 to 1500 m and an annual resolution from 1550 to 5500m.

Global relationships of total alkalinity with salinity and temperature in surface waters of the world's oceans (NCEI Accession 0157795)
공공데이터포털
Surface Total Alkalinity fields were estimated from five regional TA relationships presented in Lee et al. 2006, using monthly mean sea surface temperature and salinity from the World Ocean Atlas 2001. The data file consists of 36 columns, including latitude, longitude, sea surface temperature (SST, Jan-Dec), sea surface salinity (SSS, Jan-Dec), calculated total alkalinity from January through December (TA, Jan-Dec).
Long-term changes of surface total alkalinity and its driving mechanisms in the Northern Indian Ocean from 1993-01-01 to 2020-12-31 (NCEI Accession 0307789)

This product is a result of the use of a decision tree-based advanced machine learning algorithm (XGB) combined with an ensemble approach to predict the surface total alkalinity (TA) of the North Indian Ocean (NIO) (Longitude: 50E-100E, Latitude: 0-26N) using ship-based observations collected from different sources for the period 1978-2019 and a reanalysis data product. The ensemble approach enables the development of the best high-resolution (1/12°) surface TA estimates (INCOIS_TA) with an uncertainty map. This data has a monthly frequency and ranges from 1993 to 2020.
