Rushton, containing depth/ temperature/ salinity and sound speed profiles.

This dataset contains the MOODS4 upgrade for the real-time radio bathythermograph message subset for data provided by Compass Systems, Inc. There are three files. File one is the corrected MOODS file which has been converted to NODC UBT format, file two contains Surface reports from MOODS4 and 1985-1986 annual message subsets. File three contains uncorrected subset of MOODS4 message observations. These data are in binary format.

In 2002, the US Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) submitted these data to NODC in accordance with a Memorandum of Agreement between NODC and NAVOCEANO to exchange Public Domain Data annually. These data are all data that NAVOCEANO added to their Master Oceanographic Observation Data Set (MOODS) since they last submitted MOODS data to NODC. This submission includes temperature, salinity, and sound velocity profile data collected world-wide with CTD, STD, XBT, MBT, AXBT, and bottles from August 3, 1946 to April 27, 2002.

This dataset contains temperature, salinity, and sound speed profile data from the NAVOCEANO Master Oceanographic Observation Data Set (MOODS), 2020 update. Data are taken by XBT and CTD from multiple unspecified ships and have global distribution. Data are in text format.
