Water, sediment, anuran food (leaf litter and detritus) and whole body larval amphibian composites were analyzed for over 100 current-use pesticides from 24 wetlands representing land-use gradients in the New Jersey Pinelands, USA during 2014-2016. Emerging amphibian pathogens, Ranavirus and Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) were also assessed in individual larvae at the 24 wetlands. Tables in this data release contain the results from these analyses, with quality assurance summaries, along with site information, including land-use classifications.

Current use pesticides in larval amphibian tissues, amphibian pathogen and wetland sediment screening data from three northeastern National Wildlife Refuges, 2013-14
공공데이터포털
The data include concentrations of current use pesticides in tissues of larval wood frog (Lithobates sylvaticus) and spotted salamander (Ambystoma maculatum) and the presence of ranavirus in wood frogs and spotted salamanders from three northeastern National Wildlife Refuges sampled in 2013 and 2014. The data also include estrogenicity, protein phosphatase 2A inhibition and a suite of 15 major and minor elements in sediment screened using portable X-Ray Fluorescence. The data include sediment and tissue samples collected from 16 wetlands at the Patuxent Research Refuge (PRR) in central Maryland, USA, 15 wetlands at the Assabet River and Oxbow National Wildlife Refuges (EMASS) in eastern Massachusetts, USA, and nine wetlands at the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historic Park (CHOH) near the border of Washington DC and Maryland, USA.

Organic and inorganic constituents in surface water and native and non-native fish and frog health data collected from streams, impoundments and wetlands in the New Jersey Pinelands, 2017-2020 (ver. 1.1, August 2022)
공공데이터포털
The data presented include concentrations of 122 organic, 23 inorganic constituents, and estrogenicity in water collected from 13 off-stream non-point source sites (natural and created wetlands) and eight on-stream point source sites (streams and impoundments) in the New Jersey Pinelands, 2017-2020. Native and non-native fish health data collected from the on-stream sites as well as native frog data collected from the off-stream sites are also included. For the on-stream point-source component, we analyzed water chemistry, hormone activity, and collected native and non-native fish from two locations upstream and one downstream from two municipal wastewater treatment plants (six total sites) and from two minimally impacted locations to serve as reference conditions. For the off-stream non-point source component, we analyzed water chemistry, hormone activity, and collected Green Frogs (Lithobates clamitans) from eight stormwater basins and ponds embedded in altered landscapes and five ponds surrounded by forest land to serve as reference sites. Animals were assessed histologically for measures of endocrine disruption and surface water was analyzed for hormone activity and known or suspected endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) including hormones, phytoestrogens, waste indicator compounds and some metals.
Concentrations of Pesticide, Pharmaceutical, and Organic Wastewater Contaminants from a Multi-Regional Assessment of Wadeable USA Streams, 2014-17
공공데이터포털
Human-use pharmaceutical, pesticide, and wastewater indicator compounds were analyzed at the U.S. Geological Survey, National Water Quality Laboratory, Denver, Colorado, in wadeable streams in 4 Regional Stream Quality Assessments: Northeast (NESQA), Southeast (SESQA), Pacific Northwest (PNSQA) and California (CSQA). Multiple (with few exceptions) samplings occurred at each site, during base flow, between 2014 and 2017. Sites were located in the headwaters of perennial, wadeable streams in urban and agricultural watersheds. Site selection and methodology for each assessment can be found in Van Meter and others (2015), Sheibley and others (2015), Van Meter and others (2017), Coles and others (2016), Van Meter and others (2016), Journey and others (2015), and Van Meter and others (2014). Additional results for this study can be found in Bradley and others, 2020 and Mahler and others, 2020. See cross-reference section for full citation information.

공공데이터포털
This dataset presents the results of 475 unique organic compounds collected from 54 wadeable streams within the Southeastern, USA, collected within 10 weeks during 2014. Maximum and median exposure conditions were evaluated in relation to watershed characteristics and for potential biological effects. This dataset contains the summary statistics (maximum and median concentrations)of detected compounds, as well as a summary of quality-assurance (blanks and replicates) samples. Also included are the statistical summaries as related to analyte specific contaminant detection/concentration data and site-specific land-use matrices, spearman-rank correlations, and ToxCast evaluations.
