Bacteriology data from moored buoy casts and other instruments in the Delaware Bay and North Atlantic Ocean during the Ocean Continental Shelf (OCS-Mid Atlantic Ocean) project, 1976-11-05 to 1977-08-16 (NCEI Accession 7800207)
Bacteriology data were collected using moored buoy casts and other instruments in the Delaware Bay and North Atlantic Ocean from November 5, 1976 to August 16, 1977. Data were submitted by Virginia Institute of Marine Science - Gloucester Point as part of the Ocean Continental Shelf (OCS-Mid Atlantic Ocean) project. Data has been processed by NODC to the standard NODC F009 Bacteriology formats. The F009 format is designed to support bacteriological studies of the water column and ocean bottom. Information on environmental conditions, physical measurements of the water and sediment, and density of heterotrophic, hydrocarbonoclastic, and halophilic bacteria are presented. The format contains five data record types, each 80 characters in length, sorted by station ad sequence numbers. The first nine columns for all records are to be used for file name (columns 1-3) and file identifier (columns 4-9). The file identifier, to be assigned by the originator, is a unique originator id for each data submission. After submission, the NODC reassigns to this field a unique NODC identifier for internal use.

NODC Standard Format Marine Bacteria (F009) Data (1975-1979) (NCEI Accession 0014148)
공공데이터포털
The Marine Bacteria (F009) data set contains data from bacteriological studies of the water column and ocean bottom. Data include the density (number per unit volume, weight, or area of sample) of heterotrophic, hydrocarbonoclastic or halophilic bacteria, as well as, identification of the cruise station and senior scientist; physical measurements of the water or sediment; general environmental conditions at the time of sample collection.
Current and other data from moored buoys from the A. A. CUNNINGHAM and other platforms in the coastal waters of California as part of the Southern California Bight Experiment from 19 April 1989 to 17 July 1990 (NCEI Accession 0000065)
공공데이터포털
Current and other data were collected from moored buoys from the A. A. CUNNINGHAM and other platforms in coastal waters of California from 19 April 1989 to 17 July 1990. Data were collected by the University of Washington as part of the Southern California Bight Experiment. Parameters include current speed, current direction, u component of velocity, v component of velocity, and temperature. Some instruments also include conductivity as indicated by a C in the variable(Variable) column. S indicates speed, rather than the usual u and v; this results from bad compass data.

공공데이터포털
Ocean biology data were collected in Southern Drake Passage and Scotia Sea during two research cruises supported by NSF awards. These two cruises, namely LMG0402 and NBP0606, were conducted during February to March 2004 and July to August 2006, respectively. Dataset includes concentration of pigments in phytoplankton, particulate organic matter concentration, macronutrients, primary productivity and microbial biomass and productivity.
Nutrient and physical profile data from four Microbial Exchanges and Coupling in Coastal Atlantic Systems (MECCAS) cruises collected aboard the R/V Gyre at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay and northern Atlantic Ocean from February 17, 1985 to September 7, 1986 (NCEI Accession 8800324)
공공데이터포털
Microbial Exchanges and Coupling in Coastal Atlantic Systems (MECCAS) cruise data collected aboard the R/V Gyre at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay and northern Atlantic Ocean. Each of four MECCAS cruise data sets is divided into 3 files. File 1 contains underway surface mapping data. For this study 12 parameters were measured, including location, temperature, salinity, ammonium, nitrate, nitrite, phosphate, and silicate at +/- 0.03-0.1 um. File 2 contains vertical profiles at stations along mapping routes; the 12 parameters measured were the same as those for surface mapping data as described above. File 3 contains vertical profiles at drogue stations; 96 parameters were measured. Parameters include CTD data, zooplankton data (biomass, heterotrophic and autotrophic grazing rates, and production rate estimates), bacteria data (cell count, estimated volume, nutrient assimilation, and production rate estimates), and nanoplankton data (abundance of pigmented and non-pigmented eukaryotes and estimates of bacterial removal rates). Nutrient data contained in file 3 includes dissolved free amino acids (carbon content in free serine, glycine, and alanine in nanograms/liter.

공공데이터포털
Water physical and chemical data were collected using current meter and bottle casts from the GILLISS and other platforms from February 4, 1976 to September 14, 1976. Data were submitted by Virginia Institute of Marine Science - Gloucester Point, as part of the Ocean Continental Shelf - Mid Atlantic (OCS - Mid Atlantic) project. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard Current Meter Data (F015) format. The F014 format is designed to support studies of physical and chemical observations on the water column. Reported are measurements of temperature, salinity, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, nitrate, nitrite, ammonia, orthophosphate, and organic carbon. The format consists of four data record types, 80 characters in length, sorted by station and sequence numbers for proper order. The first nine columns for all records are to be used for file type (columns 1-3) and file identifier (columns 4-9). The file identifier, to be assigned by the originator, is an unique originator id for each data submission. After submission, the NODC reassigns to this field an unique NODC identifier for internal use.
