Physical, chemical and biological CTD and bottle data from R/V Thomas G. Thompson cruise TN278 in eastern tropical North Pacific Ocean from 2012-03-19 to 2012-04-20 (NCEI Accession 0109846)
공공데이터포털
This report contains data from R/V Thomas G. Thompson cruise TN278 to the eastern tropical north pacific oxygen deficient zone. The objective of the cruise was to study denitrification and anammox processes. The cruise took place between March and April in 2012 in an area bounded by 26N-14N and 102W-114.5W. Two data sets are included. The first is the 1-meter binned CTD data while the second is the bottle cast data and contains nutrient values for nitrate, nitrite, silicate, phosphate and ammonium. The data were collected as part of NSF grant number OCE-1029316 to Allan Devol. CTD data has been reprocessed and aligned and outliers have been removed. Nutrient samples were filtered (GFF glass fiber) before analysis and analyzed using the US-JGOFS protocols (http://usjgofs.whoi.edu/protocols_rpt_19.html). All data are considered final.
Water temperature, salinity, and other data from CTD and water sample data taken from research vessel Oceanus, cruise 449/1, in the Northwestern Tropical Atlantic, from 2008-07-18 to 2008-07-28 (NCEI Accession 0167644)
공공데이터포털
Cruise 449/1 by research vessel Oceanus in July 2008 had the objective to service a number of moored platforms for the Northwest Tropical Atlantic Station (NTAS) and Meridional Overturning Variability Experiment (MOVE) projects. To calibrate and validate the mooring data, CTD casts with salinity water samples were collected; these data are reported here. The CTD salinity data have been quality-controlled and adjusted using the water sample data. The raw CTD data files are included in this archive as well and contain other parameters such as oxygen, optical attenuation, and fluorescence, which are not thoroughly calibrated. The data format is NetCDF.
CTD data from REDOUBT in the Boca de Quadra, Alaska, from 1981-06-11 to 1981-10-18 (NCEI Accession 8200050)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains CTD and other data collected from REDOUBT cruises RT19, RT20, RT21, RT22, and RT23 in the Boca de Quadra in the coastal waters of Alaska, from June 11, 1981, to October 18, 1981. Data were collected by Dr. Burrell of the Institute of Ocean Science, University of Alaska Fairbanks. Data has been processed by NODC to the NODC standard High-Resolution CTD/STD (F022) format. The F022 format contains high-resolution data collected using CTD (conductivity-temperature-depth) and STD (salinity-temperature-depth) instruments. As they are lowered and raised in the oceans, these electronic devices provide nearly continuous profiles of temperature, salinity, and other parameters. Data values may be subject to averaging or filtering or obtained by interpolation and may be reported at depth intervals as fine as 1m. Cruise and instrument information, position, date, time and sampling interval are reported for each station. Environmental data at the time of the cast (meteorological and sea surface conditions) may also be reported. The data record comprises values of temperature, salinity or conductivity, density (computed sigma-t), and possibly dissolved oxygen or transmissivity at specified depth or pressure levels. Data may be reported at either equally or unequally spaced depth or pressure intervals. A text record is available for comments.
