The originator's bathythermograph (XBT) data was collected as part of Shipboard Environmental data Acquisition System (SEAS) III program and was submitted in a 3.5 inch diskette by Mr. Paul Stevens of U.S. Navy, Fleet Numerical Oceanography Center, Monterey, CA. The data has been converted and is now available on line in C116 file format of NODC.
