Vessel Arrival Info - Legacy
공공데이터포털
The Vessel Arrival Info is a spreadsheet that gets filled out during the initial stage of the debriefing process by the debriefer. Vessel Activity Record
공공데이터포털
The Vessel Activity Record is a bi-weekly spreadsheet that shows the status of fishing vessels. It records whether fishing vessels are fishing without an observer onboard, with an observer on board or in port.
Hawaii Longline Logbook
공공데이터포털
This data set contains the logbook data of U.S. longline vessels based in Hawaii from 1990 to the present that fish in the central Pacific (120 deg W - 170 deg E and 50 deg N - 20 deg S). Tunas (Thunnus spp.) are the dominant species of the longline catch. Swordfish and blue shark were also numerous in the longline catch prior to April 2001. In addition, there are approximately 10 to 15 other Pelagic Management Unit Species (PMUS). Since April 2001, there have been numerous regulation changes that affect the catch and effort and fishing area of the fleet; the point of contact should be contacted for more information.
American Samoa Longline Fishery Trip Expenditure (2006 to present)
공공데이터포털
This is a time-series dataset for trip expenditure data for the American Samoa-based longline fleet from August 2006 to present. The dataset includes 10 variable cost items commonly associated with longline trips (not including labor costs). The cost items collected are: unit price, quantity used, and total cost estimates for diesel fuel, engine oil, bait, ice; and total cost estimates for gear, provisions, and communications. Additional information about the operator and crew are also included. These data are collected on a routine basis through a collaboration between the Pacific Islands Fisheries Science Center (PIFSC) Economics Program and Pacific Islands Regional Office (PIRO) Observer Program.
Incident Report - Legacy

The Incident Report is a mandatory post trip legal document observers fill out to report any enforcement related situations they have encountered on an observed trip that get passed on the NOAA Office of Law Enforcement or the United States Coast Guard. These can include harassment, interference, rule infraction, MARPOL violations or other.

AIS Ship Traffic: Hawaii: 2008-2009: Binned: 1km
공공데이터포털
Ship traffic for the State of Hawaii, identifying the number of times a vessel occupied each square kilometer during the period 2008-2009. The Automatic Identification System (AIS) is an internationally-recognized shipboard broadcast system that communicates information to shore-based stations and other AIS-equipped ships. The U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) has developed rules applicable to both U.S. and foreign vessels that require owners and operators of most commercial vessels to install and use AIS to increase security and safety of maritime transportation. PacIOOS obtained AIS data from the USCG Nationwide AIS (NAIS) project. While specific times for ship locations were redacted, the data represent a cumulation over the two-year period 2008-2009 from which ship frequency was computed at 1-km resolution.
Percent Coverage
공공데이터포털
The Percent Coverage is a spreadsheet that keeps track of and compares the number of vessels that have departed with and without observers to the numbers of vessels that have departed with observers and is updated weekly or bi-weekly.
