Data from a national survey for the amphibian chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans (ver. 2.0, Nov 2024)
공공데이터포털
This dataset provides the results of a national survey of the United States for the salamander chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans (Bsal) and the amphibian chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey Amphibian Research and Monitoring Initiative from May 2014 to August 2017. Sites were sampled by capturing amphibians by hand or by traps or nets that were then swabbed individually using methods that prevent sample contamination. All swabs were then analyzed using a real-time TaqMan PCR for detection of B. salamandrivorans and Bd on the extracted DNA. The data consist of locality information and data on the individual sampled, as well as the result of the test for B. salamandrivorans and Bd. No cases of B. salamandrivorans were detected in this study.
Amphibian capture mark-recapture
공공데이터포털
These data represent capture mark recapture data along with associated disease status for boreal toads (Anaxyrus boreas) from Wyoming and Montana from 2004-2016 and four frog species (Rana draytonii, R. muscosa, R. pretiosa, R. sierrae) from 2001-2016.

Site and Survey Data for Dixie Valley Toads in Churchill County, Nevada, 2019
공공데이터포털
These data include site- and survey-specific information for occupancy surveys of Dixie Valley Toads (Anaxyrus williamsi) collected in the Dixie Valley, Churchill County, Nevada, in May 2019. The data include both multiple surveys of the same sites and time-to-detection information to quantify detection probabilities and account for imperfect detection in assessments of Dixie Valley Toad occupancy.
Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis detections and methylmercury loads in amphibians across the United States
공공데이터포털
The U.S. Geological Survey conducted sampling across the United States between 2017 and 2022 to assess the effects of methylmercury bioaccumulation and amphibian chytrid fungus (Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis; Bd) on the survival of amphibian species. This dataset includes detections and non-detections of Bd (obtained from DNA extracted from skin swabs) and whole-body methylmercury concentrations from individual amphibians, as well as habitat and climate characteristics where samples were collected.
Presence and prevalence of pathogens among amphibians of Catoctin Mountain Park, 2014
공공데이터포털
Data described herein was collected by USGS personnel and the project funded by USGS and the National Park Service (Catoctin Mountain Park) through a FY14 NRPP project involving both agencies and developed to detect the presence and prevalence of ranavirus and chytrid pathogens among amphibians of Catoctin Mountain Park (CATO). Supplemental molecular analyses were performed on behalf of LSC by the molecular biology laboratory at Hagerstown Community College whereby students performed the molecular diagnostic testing and provided the raw data to LSC for analysis. There is no data sharing agreement specifying ownership, but the data was presented to the NPS CATO staff to help guide their management decision-making related to amphibians and disease susceptibility. This body of data is stored in spreadsheet format.

Dixie Valley Toad Radio Telemetry Data from Churchill County, Nevada, 2018-2019
공공데이터포털
This U.S. Geological Survey data release includes tabular data collected to characterize the habitat and movement of Dixie Valley toads. Data were collected in Dixie Valley, Nevada, in autumn 2018 and spring 2019.
Student Network for Amphibian Pathogen Surveillance Data
공공데이터포털
Data in this dataset were collected as a part of the Student Network for Amphibian Pathogen Surveilance (SNAPs) program throughout the United States by undergraduate students in biology or ecology courses as a part of their curriculum throughout 2022. This data was collected in the field by students and sent to the USGS National Wildlife Health Center (NWHC) for testing of two amphibian fungal pathogens, Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) and Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans (Bs). The dataset includes both the field records of the individual amphibians tested and the results for individuals for Bd and Bs.
