Data from a national survey for the amphibian chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans (ver. 2.0, Nov 2024)
This dataset provides the results of a national survey of the United States for the salamander chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans (Bsal) and the amphibian chytrid fungus Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd) conducted by the U.S. Geological Survey Amphibian Research and Monitoring Initiative from May 2014 to August 2017. Sites were sampled by capturing amphibians by hand or by traps or nets that were then swabbed individually using methods that prevent sample contamination. All swabs were then analyzed using a real-time TaqMan PCR for detection of B. salamandrivorans and Bd on the extracted DNA. The data consist of locality information and data on the individual sampled, as well as the result of the test for B. salamandrivorans and Bd. No cases of B. salamandrivorans were detected in this study.

Indiana Amphibian Pathogen Surveillance data release
공공데이터포털
Data in this dataset were collected as a part of a surveillance project for reintroduction of a state endangered species in Indiana. This data was collected in the field by state biologists and sent to the USGS National Wildlife Health Center (NWHC) for testing of four amphibian pathogens, Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis (Bd), Batrachochytrium salamandrivorans (Bs), Ranavirus, and perkinsea. The dataset includes both the field records of the individual amphibians tested and the results for individuals for all four pathogens.

Amphibian encounter data and associated covariate data from the Midwest Region of Amphibian Research and Monitoring Initiative (ARMI) surveys 2002-2012
공공데이터포털
This data set contains information on detections of anuran (i.e., frogs and toads) species at six different management areas in the midwestern United States from 2002 to 2012. From 2002 to 2005 anuran communities were surveyed during the day using multiple methods at individual study wetlands—visual encounter surveys, dip net surveys, and calling surveys using multiple observers in most cases. Data are presented from each survey. From 2008 to 2012 amphibian communities were surveyed through detections of vocalizing anurans recorded by automated recording units. Automated recording units recorded five minutes at the top of every hour for the entire field season (typically April through October). Recorder data are presented for up to 15 confirmed detection dates per site per species. Original raw acoustic recordings used to create this data table are archived at the Upper Midwest Environmental Science Center.

Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis detections and methylmercury loads in amphibians across the United States
공공데이터포털
The U.S. Geological Survey conducted sampling across the United States between 2017 and 2022 to assess the effects of methylmercury bioaccumulation and amphibian chytrid fungus (Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis; Bd) on the survival of amphibian species. This dataset includes detections and non-detections of Bd (obtained from DNA extracted from skin swabs) and whole-body methylmercury concentrations from individual amphibians, as well as habitat and climate characteristics where samples were collected.
