공공데이터포털
Current and other data from meters attached to FIXED PLATFORMS in the coastal waters of Florida. Data were collected by University of Miami; Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS) in support of the Subtropical Atlantic Climate Study 6 (STACS) from 19 June 1984 to 27 March 1987. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard F015 Current Meter Components format. The F015 format contains time series measurements of ocean currents. These data are obtained from current meter moorings and represent the Eulerian method of current measurement, i.e., the meters are deployed at a fixed point and measure flow past a sensor. Position, bottom depth, sensor depth and meter characteristics are reported for each station. The data record includes values of east-west (u) and north-south (v) current vector components at specified date and time. Current direction is defined as the direction toward which the water is flowing with positive directions east and north. Data values may be subject to averaging or filtering and are typically reported at 10 - 15 minute time intervals. Water temperature, pressure and conductivity or salinity may also be reported. A text record is available for optional comments.

WATER TEMPERATURE and Other Data from FIXED PLATFORM From South Atlantic Ocean and Others from 1978-11-22 to 1981-01-13 (NCEI Accession 9000113)
공공데이터포털
This data set is a processed version of data obtained during the First GARP (Global Atmospheric Research Program) Global Experiment (FGGE). The data were obtained by 359 individual drifting buoys from November 1978 to January 1981 mostly in the southern hemisphere oceans. This data set was processed by Dr. Steven L. Patterson from NODC. The buoys were supplied by different countries. Included in the documentation is a description of the data set and a manuscript titled "Surface Circulation and Kinetic Energy Distribution in the South by S.L. Patterson". This paper was published in the Journal of Physical Oceanography 15 (7).

공공데이터포털
Current meter data were collected using moored current meter casts in the Coastal Waters of Florida from November 23, 1990 to August 19, 1991. Data were submitted by Science Applications, Inc. - Raleigh NC as part of the Florida Straits Physical Oceanography (FSPO) project. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard Current Meter Data (F015) format. The F015 format is used for time series measurements of ocean currents. These data are obtained from current meter moorings and represent Eulerian method of current measurement, i.e., the meters are deployed at a fixed point and measure flow past a sensor. The data record comprises values of east-west (u) and north-south (v) current vector components at specified date and time. Current direction is defined as the direction toward which the water is flowing with positive directions east and north and negative directions west and south. Data values may be subject to averaging or filtering and are typically reported at 10-15 minute time intervals. Water temperature, pressure, and conductivity or salinity may also be reported. A text record is available for optional comments.
Current and other data from moored buoys from the A. A. CUNNINGHAM and other platforms in the coastal waters of California as part of the Southern California Bight Experiment from 19 April 1989 to 17 July 1990 (NCEI Accession 0000065)
공공데이터포털
Current and other data were collected from moored buoys from the A. A. CUNNINGHAM and other platforms in coastal waters of California from 19 April 1989 to 17 July 1990. Data were collected by the University of Washington as part of the Southern California Bight Experiment. Parameters include current speed, current direction, u component of velocity, v component of velocity, and temperature. Some instruments also include conductivity as indicated by a C in the variable(Variable) column. S indicates speed, rather than the usual u and v; this results from bad compass data.
