공공데이터포털
This dataset contains profile discrete measurements of dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, water temperature, salinity and other parameters collected from profile discrete observations using CTD, Niskin Bottles and other instruments during the R/V Knorr cruise KN2011-4 (EXPOCODE 316N20110426), in the North Atlantic Ocean from 2011-04-26 to 2011-05-02. Increasing amounts of atmospheric carbon dioxide from human industrial activities are causing changes in global ocean carbon chemistry. Through the SOOP program we measure air and ocean surface pCO2 and take discrete samples of other carbon parameters. This effort is in support of the coastal monitoring and research objectives of the NOAA Ocean Acidification Program (OAP) and the Climate Program Office.

Dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, pH on total scale, and other variables collected from discrete samples and profile observations during the R/V F. G. Walton Smith cruise FC2409 (EXPOCODE 33WA20240912) in the North Atlantic Ocean on 2024-09-12 (NCEI Accession 0309253)
공공데이터포털
This dataset consists of water temperature, salinity, nutrients, dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, pH on total scale, and other variables collected from discrete samples and profile observations during the R/V F. G. Walton Smith cruise FC2409 (EXPOCODE 33WA20240912) in the North Atlantic Ocean on 2024-09-12. Understanding of carbon transport and ocean acidification along the US East Coast, particularly in the Florida Straits, is currently limited by insufficient carbon chemistry data. To close this critical gap, the Role of the Overturning Circulation in Carbon Accumulation (ROCCA) project leverages the observations and logistics of NOAA’s established Western Boundary Time Series (WBTS) project at approximately 27N. This effort is obtaining new, high-quality measurements of carbonate chemistry (dissolved inorganic carbon, total alkalinity, and pH on the total scale) and associated parameters (nutrients). The resulting comprehensive dataset is being used to accurately estimate anthropogenic carbon transports across the subtropical North Atlantic and to determine the contributions of air-sea fluxes and ocean circulation to regional carbon accumulation.
