Grass Carp detections via stationary receivers and manual tracking on Truman Reservoir, MO, January 2017 to October 2019
Diploid and triploid Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon Idella) tagged with acoustic transmitters were observed in Truman Reservoir, Missouri from January 2017 to October 2019 to determine longitudinal movements potentially associated with spawning. Passive acoustic receivers were deployed throughout the reservoir and its tributaries to monitor fish movements as they traversed up and downstream. This dataset consists of the detections made by passive receivers and those made by manual tracking.

Water quality, habitat, sampling methods and characteristics for grass carp in Truman Reservoir Missouri, 2017-2019
공공데이터포털
Diploid and triploid Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon Idella) tagged with acoustic transmitters were observed in Truman Reservoir, Missouri from February 2017 to March 2019 to determine habitat usage in winter. Habitat parameters were measured at used and available sites to model habitat preference. In addition, tagged fish were targeted during removal attempts to determine the efficacy of using tagged Judas Grass Carp in removing wild conspecifics. This dataset includes information on tagged Grass Carp and habitats they selected as well as capture events and characteristics of the wild fish caught during these attempts.

Grass Carp Movement and Capture Data from the Sandusky River, Lake Erie, Ohio, USA from 2020 to 2022
공공데이터포털
Data includes grass carp position and sampling data from 2020 to 2022. We used grass carp that were implanted with acoustic transmitters. The position data was generated in Fathom Position from receivers that composed several VEMCO Positioning Systems (VPS). We also queried the Great Lakes Acoustic Telemetry Observation Network (GLATOS) to obtain non-VPS position detections from receivers made from multiple projects across Lake Erie and associated tributaries. Sampling data was downloaded from the grass carp capture database hosted on ArcGIS Online These data contain information such as location of event, time gears were deployed and retrieved, and number of grass carp caught.

Environmental factors associated with these data (including average water temperature, depth, and backwater classification) are also provided. Specific datasets include SR_boat_count.csv and SR_boat_count_daily.csv which describe the number of boats performing grass carp removal on the Sandusky River; SR_electrofish_time.csv containing cumulative electrofishing shock time in the Sandusky River by month; SR_glatos_GC_2223.csv containing detections of grass carp in the Sandusky River between the VPS arrays provided by GLATOS; SR_temp_avg_EST.csv which contains average temperature in the Sandusky River summarized by hour; Sandusky_depth_84.tif which is a raster file containing bathymetery data for the Sandusky River; and backwater.shp, a shape file containing polygon features defining areas in the Sandusky River designated as backwater
Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) egg capture data from tributaries to western Lake Erie, 2015-2020
공공데이터포털
The data includes dates, places, and times of sampling events for eggs and larvae of invasive Grass Carp (Ctenopharyngodon idella) in tributaries to Lake Erie between 2015 and 2020. Reference data on locations and dates sampled, gears used, and effort are included. Developmental stages for a subset of undamaged, fertilized eggs are provided. Tables include common fields to allow for integration into a relational database to aid data extraction and associating data among tables.

Grass carp capture and life history traits in the Lake Erie watershed, 2017-2023, and in the Mississippi, Missouri, and Lamine Rivers within the state of Missouri, 2022
공공데이터포털
From 2017-2023, a total of 934 Grass Carp were removed from the Lake Erie basin and tributaries, and 159 were captured in the Mississippi, Missouri, and Lamine Rivers within the state of Missouri in 2022. For each captured fish we documented capture location, water temperature; we measured total length and total weight. Length data was used to assess the removal efforts in Lake Erie. A subset of Lake Erie captures (n=121), and Missouri captures (n=153) were histologically sampled to determine age-at-maturity, fecundity type, developmental timing, and spawning strategies. Gonadosomatic index (GSI) was analyzed to determine if it is a valid proxy for maturity.
