Navigable Waterway Network Lines
공공데이터포털
The Navigable Waterway Network Lines dataset is periodically updated by the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The National Waterway Network (Lines) is a comprehensive network database of the Nation's navigable waterways. The dataset covers the 48 contiguous states plus the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and water links between. It consists of a line feature class of the National Waterway Network (NWN), which is based on a route feature class for the NWN update regions (“1” through “7”, as well as the open ocean region “0”) and route event table with linear referencing system measures for NWN links. This dataset is a feature class with associated measures (in miles) that are used for finding distances, locating features, and displaying route event layers. It was exported from this route event layer. The nominal scale of the dataset varies with the source material. The majority of the information is at 1:100,000 with larger scales used in harbor/bay/port areas and smaller scales used in open waters. These data could be used for analytical studies of waterway performance, for compiling commodity flow statistics, and for mapping purposes. The Navigable Waterway Network Nodes dataset is periodically updated by the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The National Waterway Network (Nodes) is a comprehensive network database of the nation's navigable waterways. The dataset covers the lower 48 states as well as the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and water links between. The nominal scale of the dataset varies with the source material. Most of the information is at 1:100,000 with larger scales used in harbor/bay/port areas and smaller scales used in open waters. These data could be used for analytical studies of waterway performance, for compiling commodity flow statistics, and for mapping purposes. Aviation Facilities
공공데이터포털
The Aviation Facilities dataset is updated every 28 days from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The Aviation Facilities dataset is a geographic point database of all official and operational aerodromes in the United States and U.S. Territories. Attribute data is provided on the physical and operational characteristics of the aerodrome, current usage including enplanements and aircraft operations, congestion levels and usage categories. This geospatial data is derived from the FAA's National Airspace System Resource Aeronautical Data Product. For more information about these data, please visit: https://www.faa.gov/air_traffic/flight_info/aeronav/Aero_Data/NASR_Subscription. National Bridge Inventory
공공데이터포털
The National Bridge Inventory dataset is as of June 27, 2024 from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The data describes more than 615,000 of the Nation's bridges located on public roads, including Interstate Highways, U.S. highways, State and county roads, as well as publicly-accessible bridges on Federal and Tribal lands. The inventory data present a complete picture of the location, description, classification, and general condition data for each bridge. The element data present a breakdown of the condition of each structural and bridge management element for each bridge on the National Highway System (NHS). The Recording and Coding Guide for the Structure Inventory and Appraisal of the Nation's Bridges contains a detailed description of each data element including coding instructions and attribute definitions. The Coding Guide is available at: https://doi.org/10.21949/1519105.
Ports and Port Statistical Areas
공공데이터포털
The Ports and Port Statistical Areas dataset is periodically updated by the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). Per Engineering Regulation 1130-2-520, USACE’s NDC and WCSC are responsible for collecting, compiling, printing, and distributing all domestic waterborne commerce statistics for which the USACE has responsibility. Per a 1998 Office of Management and Budget (OMB) memorandum, the WCSC inherited the requirement to include foreign waterborne commerce formally executed by the U.S. Census Bureau. Performance of this work is in accordance with the Rivers and Harbors Appropriation Act of 1922 (33 USC 555). Engineering Regulation 1130-2-520 defines a port as: (1) Port limits defined by legislative enactments of state, county, or city governments. (2) The corporate limits of a municipality.
