Navigable Waterway Network Lines
The Navigable Waterway Network Lines dataset is periodically updated by the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The National Waterway Network (Lines) is a comprehensive network database of the Nation's navigable waterways. The dataset covers the 48 contiguous states plus the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico and water links between. It consists of a line feature class of the National Waterway Network (NWN), which is based on a route feature class for the NWN update regions (“1” through “7”, as well as the open ocean region “0”) and route event table with linear referencing system measures for NWN links. This dataset is a feature class with associated measures (in miles) that are used for finding distances, locating features, and displaying route event layers. It was exported from this route event layer. The nominal scale of the dataset varies with the source material. The majority of the information is at 1:100,000 with larger scales used in harbor/bay/port areas and smaller scales used in open waters. These data could be used for analytical studies of waterway performance, for compiling commodity flow statistics, and for mapping purposes.

Marine Highways
공공데이터포털
The Marine Highways dataset was created on June 15, 2016 and was updated on September 16, 2024 by the U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). MARAD's Marine Highway Program is a Maritime Administration led program to expand the use of our Nation's navigable waterways to relieve landside congestion, reduce air emissions, and generate other public benefits by increasing the efficiency of the surface transportation system (https://www.maritime.dot.gov/grants/marine-highways/marine-highway). This dataset contains the locations of all 31 maritime routes that have been designated as Marine Highways by the Secretary of U.S. DOT and contain 2022 tonnage values from the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). Routes included in this dataset are diagrammatic and may not depict all waterways and port connectors that are considered to be part of the U.S. Marine Highway System.
Dams
공공데이터포털
The Dams dataset is a representation of the National Inventory of Dams (NID), maintained and published by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, in cooperation with the Association of State Dam Safety Officials, the states, territories, and federal agencies. It is also part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The Dams dataset (NID) includes all known dams of the United States and its territories, that meet the federal definition of a dam. Dams where downstream flooding would likely result in loss of human life (high hazard potential). Dams where downstream flooding would likely result in disruption of access to critical facilities, damage to public and private facilities, and require difficult mitigation efforts (significant hazard potential). Dams that meet minimum height and reservoir size requirements, even though they do not pose the same level of life or economic risk as those above - these low hazard potential dams equal or exceed 25 feet in height and exceed 15 acre-feet in storage, or equal or exceed 50 acre-feet storage and exceed 6 feet in height. The database contains more than 70 data fields for each dam. This includes the dam's location, size, purpose, type, last inspection, and regulatory facts. The information is updated periodically by the state and federal agencies, reflected by the "Data Last Updated Date". For more information on dams, visit the NID web site at https://nid.sec.usace.army.mil/#.
Link Tonnages
공공데이터포털
The Link Tonnages dataset was sourced on December 31, 2022 and was updated on November 14, 2024 by the United States Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The tonnage summarized for each link by commodity and direction (upbound and down bound). The commodities include Coal, Petroleum Products, Chemicals, Crude Materials, Manufactured Goods, Farm Products, Machinery, Waste, and Unknown.

National Transit Map Routes
공공데이터포털
The National Transit Map - Routes dataset was compiled on September 09, 2024 from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The National Transit Map (NTM) is a nationwide catalog of fixed-guideway and fixed-route transit service in America. It is compiled using General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) Schedule data. The NTM Routes dataset shows transit routes, which is a group of trips that are displayed to riders as a single service. To display the route alignment and trips for each route, this dataset combines the following GTFS files: routes.txt, trips.txt, and shapes.txt. The GTFS Schedule documentation is available at, https://gtfs.org/schedule/. To improve the spatial accuracy of the NTM Routes, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) adjusts transit routes using context from the submitted GTFS source data and/or from other publicly available information about the transit service.
National Transit Map Agencies
공공데이터포털
The National Transit Map - Agencies dataset was compiled on September 09, 2024 from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) and is part of the U.S. The GTFS Schedule documentation is available at, https://gtfs.org/schedule/. The NTM Agencies dataset represents the physical addresses of participating transit agencies. Regarding data coverage and licenses, starting in Report Year 2023, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has required National Transit Database (NTD) Reporters to submit General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data. Reporters will submit GTFS during their reporting period, which is determined by their fiscal year end date. All GTFS data submitted to the NTD will enter the public domain. Prior to the GTFS requirement, transit agencies voluntarily participated in the NTM and granted the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 United States (CC-BY-3.0) license. Intermodal Freight Facilities Pipeline Terminals
공공데이터포털
The Intermodal Freight Facilities - Pipeline Terminals dataset was compiled on February 02, 2021 and was updated on April 21, 2021 from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). Pipeline terminals interface between pipeline mode and other transportation modes. They have the ability to receive or deliver freight commodities via pipeline and truck/rail/water. The data consists of location information, truck/rail/water mode connections, storage capacity, and a list of commodities handled at the terminal. Geographical coverage includes the United States and U.S. territories. This dataset is one of several layers in the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) Intermodal Freight Facility Database.
