Fine-grained report of disability case counts, organized by SSA region, state, and individual field office. Within each field office, counts are broken down by classification (Initial or CDR) and by adjudicative level, giving monthly counts by Title (T2, T16), Keyed applications, Internet applications, paper applications, plus counts for closed,transferred and pending cases.

Report by region and individual SSA field offices, then by disability case classification (CDR or Initial) and adjudicative level, giving the number of disability cases pending more than 30 days, more than 60 days and more than 90 days. Numbers are rolled up to the regional level.

This report contains Disability Employment Services (DES) commencement and caseload data by different geographic regions. The report includes caseload and initial commencement data by participant demographics, program type, Labour Market Region (LMR), Employment Service Area (ESA) and participant postcode. The postcodes mapped to ESAs document, available in the list of files, is a reference tool to assist in determining how LMRs and ESAs relate to postcodes. Refer to the ‘Employment Service Areas (ESAs) 2013+ (Disability Employment Services)’ page for information about Employment Services Area regions. From the March 2024 release onwards the frequency of the reporting increased from bi-annual to quarterly. Refer to the release notes on the Index page for further information regarding changes to the report.

This dataset provides yearly data for Disability Decisions that includes Title II, Title XVI, and concurrent initial disability determinations and appeals decisions in FY 2014, regardless of the year in which the initial claim was filed, and regardless of whether the claimant ever received benefits requirements. This does not include claims were an eligibility determination was reached without a determination of disability.

This report contains key program data for the Disability Employment Services (DES) program, including the two parts Disability Management Service (DMS) and Employment Support Service (ESS). The report provides aggregated data on referrals, commencements, exits, caseload and outcomes for the DES program of the last five years. The report also includes a glossary. Reports after July 2018 only include 2010 and 2018 DES programs. Please refer to earlier reports for information on the previous programs.
