This dataset contains Bay Area Rapid Transportation (BART) Route Lines, San Francisco Bay CA. This data is current as of 2015.

Public transit routes in San Diego County managed by the San Diego County Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) and the North County Transit District (NCTD). Bus, commuter and light rail, and trolley routes managed and developed from the General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data available from the transitland feed registry (formerly from GTFS Data Exchange). Routes are developed from the GTFS data available through the transitland feed registry (https://transit.land/feed-registry/), formerly from the GTFS Data Exchange. GTFS data is provided to the exchange by the transit agencies and processed by SanGIS to create a consolidated GIS layer containing routes from both systems. SanGIS uses a publicly available ESRI ArcToolbox tool to create the GIS data layer. The toolbox can be found at http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=14189102b795412a85bc5e1e09a0bafa. This data set is created using the ROUTES.txt and SHAPES.txt GTFS data files.Routes layers for MTS and NCTD are created separately and combined into a single layer using ArcGIS tools.

This dataset contains the information for the transit lines in Los Angeles, California. The file contains left and right alignments for five Metro lines to include: the Red and Purple Line, the Gold Line, the Green Line, the Expo Line, the Blue Line. The alignments were created from coordinate points extracted from the Record Drawing. The Record Drawings included spiral curve, circle curve, and alignment data. The Record Drawings were created at various time from 11/1985 to 04/1999. Only tangent lines and circular curve data were used to create the alignments. Spiral data and crossover data were estimated and do not reflect the actual curvature of the tracks.

This vector shoreline data is based on an office interpretation of imagery that may be suitable as a geographic information system (GIS) data layer. This metadata describes information for both the line and point shapefiles. The NGS attribution scheme 'Coastal Cartographic Object Attribute Source Table (C-COAST)' was developed to conform the attribution of various sources of shoreline data into one attribution catalog. C-COAST is not a recognized standard, but was influenced by the International Hydrographic Organization's S-57 Object-Attribute standard so the data would be more accurately translated into S-57.
