FTA Regions
공공데이터포털
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Regions dataset was created on October 12, 2022 from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has 10 different regions across the United States. The regions cover all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and territories. Staff within the FTA regions provide support in cities/regions with greater transit activities. All these officials develop and manage grants. FTA also overseas safety measures.
Freight Analysis Framework (FAF5) Highway Network Assignments
공공데이터포털
The Freight Analysis Framework (FAF5) - Highway Network Assignments was created from 2017 base year and 30 year forecast data and was published on April 11, 2022 from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). This data package includes tabular files with results from FAF5 2017, 2022, and 2050 baseline assignments to represent freight flows by three separate truck only flows type (Total Truck, Single Unit, and Combination Unit) and three freight flow markets (domestic, import and export). 2017 and 2022 model years contain 6 data tables and 2050 model year contains 11 data tables, representing the truck only flows. Each data table can be linked to the FAF5 network geography to display truck flows by link.
FTA Office Locations
공공데이터포털
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Office Locations dataset was created on October 12, 2022 from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). This dataset represents 11 regional offices in 10 regions. There are 2 offices region 9, in San Franisco, CA and Los Angelos, CA. Staff in FTA Metropolitan Offices provide support in cities/regions with greater transit activities. All these officials develop and manage grants. FTA also overseas safety measures.
National Parks
공공데이터포털
The National Parks dataset is frequently updated by the National Park Service (NPS) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). This dataset depicts National Park Service boundary data that was created by the Land Resources Division. NPS Director's Order #25 states: "Land status maps will be prepared to identify the ownership of the lands within the authorized boundaries of the park unit. These maps, showing ownership and acreage, are the 'official record' of the acreage of Federal and non-federal lands within the park boundaries. While these maps are the official record of the lands and acreage within the unit's authorized boundaries, they are not of survey quality and not intended to be used for survey purposes." As such this data is intended for use as a tool for GIS analysis. It is in no way intended for engineering or legal purposes. National Bridge Inventory
공공데이터포털
The National Bridge Inventory dataset is as of June 27, 2024 from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The data describes more than 615,000 of the Nation's bridges located on public roads, including Interstate Highways, U.S. highways, State and county roads, as well as publicly-accessible bridges on Federal and Tribal lands. The inventory data present a complete picture of the location, description, classification, and general condition data for each bridge. The element data present a breakdown of the condition of each structural and bridge management element for each bridge on the National Highway System (NHS). The Recording and Coding Guide for the Structure Inventory and Appraisal of the Nation's Bridges contains a detailed description of each data element including coding instructions and attribute definitions. The Coding Guide is available at: https://doi.org/10.21949/1519105.
Travel Monitoring Analysis System Stations Table
공공데이터포털
The Travel Monitoring Analysis System (TMAS) - Stations Table dataset was compiled on December 31, 2023 and was published on July 16, 2024 from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The data included in this table have been collected by the FHWA from State DOTs through 24/7 permanent count data. The attributes are used by FHWA for its Travel Monitoring Analysis System and external agencies and have been intentionally limited to location referencing attributes since the core station description attribute data are contained within TMAS. The attributes in the Station data correspond with the Station file format found in Chapter 6 of the 2001 Traffic Monitoring Guide (https://doi.org/10.21949/1519109).
National Transit Map Routes
공공데이터포털
The National Transit Map - Routes dataset was compiled on March 19, 2025 from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The National Transit Map (NTM) is a nationwide catalog of fixed-guideway and fixed-route transit service in America. It is compiled using General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) Schedule data. The NTM Routes dataset shows transit routes, which is a group of trips that are displayed to riders as a single service. To display the route alignment and trips for each route, this dataset combines the following GTFS files: routes.txt, trips.txt, and shapes.txt. The GTFS Schedule documentation is available at, https://gtfs.org/schedule/. To improve the spatial accuracy of the NTM Routes, the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) adjusts transit routes using context from the submitted GTFS source data and/or from other publicly available information about the transit service. A data dictionary, or other source of attribute information, is accessible at https://doi.org/10.21949/1529048
National Transit Map Agencies
공공데이터포털
The National Transit Map - Agencies dataset was compiled on September 09, 2024 from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) and is part of the U.S. The GTFS Schedule documentation is available at, https://gtfs.org/schedule/. The NTM Agencies dataset represents the physical addresses of participating transit agencies. Regarding data coverage and licenses, starting in Report Year 2023, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has required National Transit Database (NTD) Reporters to submit General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data. Reporters will submit GTFS during their reporting period, which is determined by their fiscal year end date. All GTFS data submitted to the NTD will enter the public domain. Prior to the GTFS requirement, transit agencies voluntarily participated in the NTM and granted the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 United States (CC-BY-3.0) license.
