FRA Office Locations
The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Office Locations dataset was created on October 13, 2022 from the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). These locations show FRA office locations, based on railroad company and Safety Management Teams (SMTs). The Safety Management Teams serve as the Office of Railroad Safety's main liaison with the senior leadership of the Nation's railroads. Each of the nine Safety Management Teams is assigned to either a Class I railroad or a group of railroads and provides safety oversight of the respective railroad system(s). The Safety Management Teams represent FRA with the railroads, and they communicate and coordinate with FRA's Staff Directors, Accident Analysis Branch, Audit Management Program, and other Safety Management Teams.

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Office Locations dataset was created on October 12, 2022 from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). This dataset represents 11 regional offices in 10 regions. There are 2 offices region 9, in San Franisco, CA and Los Angelos, CA. Staff in FTA Metropolitan Offices provide support in cities/regions with greater transit activities. All these officials develop and manage grants. FTA also overseas safety measures.
FMCSA Service Center Locations
공공데이터포털
The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) Service Center Locations dataset is as of October 06, 2022 from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). This layer is displayed as points depicting the location of the Service Center within each FMCSA region. More information on the FMCSA Service Centers, and territories each covers, can be found at: https://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/mission/field-offices
FTA Regions
공공데이터포털
The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Regions dataset was created on October 12, 2022 from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has 10 different regions across the United States. The regions cover all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and territories. Staff within the FTA regions provide support in cities/regions with greater transit activities. All these officials develop and manage grants. FTA also overseas safety measures.
Railroad Bridges
공공데이터포털
The Railroad Bridges dataset was compiled on October 14, 2022 from the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). A railroad bridge is defined as “Railroad bridge means any structure with a deck, regardless of length, which supports one or more railroad tracks, or any other undergrade structure with an individual span length of 10 feet or more located at such a depth that it is affected by live loads.” based on the Code of Federal Regulations (49 CFR Part 237). The FRA does not have a mandate to inspect railroad bridges: these inspections are required by the owner of the track. The FRA will use this railroad bridge dataset to determine the number of bridges per railroad, state, etc. and will assist in determining priority field activities.
National Transit Map Agencies
공공데이터포털
The National Transit Map - Agencies dataset was compiled on September 09, 2024 from the Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The National Transit Map (NTM) is a nationwide catalog of fixed-guideway and fixed-route transit service in America. It is compiled using General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) Schedule data. The GTFS Schedule documentation is available at, https://gtfs.org/schedule/. The NTM Agencies dataset represents the physical addresses of participating transit agencies. Regarding data coverage and licenses, starting in Report Year 2023, the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) has required National Transit Database (NTD) Reporters to submit General Transit Feed Specification (GTFS) data. Reporters will submit GTFS during their reporting period, which is determined by their fiscal year end date. All GTFS data submitted to the NTD will enter the public domain. Prior to the GTFS requirement, transit agencies voluntarily participated in the NTM and granted the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 United States (CC-BY-3.0) license. The CC-BY-3.0 license is available at, https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/us/legalcode.

Railroad Grade Crossings
공공데이터포털
The Railroad Grade Crossings dataset was updated on July 07, 2024 and was created on October 13, 2024 by the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The Railroad Grade Crossings is a spatial file that originates from the National Highway-Rail Crossing Inventory Program. The program is to provide information to the public, Federal, State, and Local governments, as well as the railroad industry for information and the improvements of safety at highway-rail crossings. Some railroad grade crossings were located outside the US or their respective states, and relocated to latitude longitude 0,0.
PHMSA Office Locations
공공데이터포털
The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) Office Locations dataset was compiled on October 04, 2022 from the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The PHMSA Office Locations layer contains point features representing the addresses of PHMSA’s regional and field operations offices as well as its Headquarters and Inspector Training and Qualifications Division office. Each region office is charged with overseeing the safe and secure movement of daily shipments of hazardous materials by all modes of transportation, as well as ensuring the safe, reliable, and environmentally sound operation of the nation's pipeline infrastructure. Despite regional divisions the jurisdiction of PHMSA staff is nationwide and not limited to their regional area of responsibility. n some cases, both the Office of Pipeline Safety and the Office of Hazardous Materials Safety are located at the same address. In these cases, the data layer still contains a separate point for each office so that the contact information for each office can be provided. Although the PHMSA Headquarters and the Inspector Training and Qualifications Division represent both the OPS and the OHMS, there is only one point for each of these offices since there is only one contact for each office.
