This data set contains the results for the Implanted Ion Sensor (IIS) of the Johnstone Particle Analyser (JPA) instrument flown aboard the GIOTTO spacecraft during its extended mission to fly by comet P/Grigg-Skjellerup. The IIS instrument produced data in three modes during the encountered, labelled as 'D4D', 'STC' and 'TOF'. The files in this data set present the results obtained in those modes in the form of flat ASCII files.

It contains both raw magnetometer readings from periods during 3 July to 11 July, as well as files containing time-averages of the magnetic field vectors during the encounter period.
