Hiring Manager Satisfaction Dashboard - Public
This dashboard was created in response to the November 30, 2022 President’s Management Agenda memorandum requesting agency actions on success metrics related to the Workforce Priority, which includes increasing the percentage of hiring manager satisfaction with the hiring process. Federal agencies are able to use this dashboard to track their hiring manager satisfaction metrics overtime to assess whether they are meeting this goal. In addition to satisfaction metrics, the dashboard also includes metrics on the other questions that are asked in the CHCO Hiring Manager Satisfaction survey, such as survey respondents’ opinions on the hiring process.

The dasboard displays interactive visuals of the results of the Chief Human Capital Officers (CHCO) Hiring Manager Satisfaction Survey. The Chief Human Capital Officers (CHCO) Hiring Manager Satisfaction survey was developed in partnership with the CHCO Council to capture hiring manager satisfaction with the hiring process.

Ratings are based on percent positive scores of the survey items that make up each index. The ratings provide a reliable assessment of where agencies rank on the Employee Engagement Index, Global Satisfaction Index, and Performance Confidence Index. A review of results on the various items that comprise each index provides agencies with a richer understanding of aspects of the workplace (e.g., management practices) that employees perceive as effective versus those which should be developed and improved. Subindex scores are calculated by averaging the unrounded percent positive of each of the items in the subindex. To view index ratings, select from the options below.

The Performance Confidence Index is an average of the responses for the five items: Employees in my work unit meet the needs of our customers; Employees in my work unit contribute positively to my agency’s performance; Employees in my work unit produce high-quality work; Employees in my work unit adapt to changing priorities; Employees in my work unit achieve our goals.

FedScope Accessions Cubes

This set of fiscal year trend cubes provides access to accession data. The numbers reflect the actual number of personnel actions (Transfer-Ins and New Hires) that have taken place within a given fiscal year. The scope of this data set includes all data elements used in the creation of the FedScope Accessions Cube (http://www.fedscope.opm.gov/). The following workforce characteristics are available for analysis: Accession, Date, Agency, Age (5 year interval), Gender, GS & Equivalent Grade, Length of Service (5 year interval), State/Country, Occupation, Occupation Category, Pay Plan & Grade, Salary Level ($10,000 interval), Type of Appointment, Work Schedule, Count, Average Salary, and Average Length of Service. The OPM Enterprise Human Resources Integration-Statistical Data Mart (EHRI-SDM) is the source for all FedScope data. Data is processed on a quarterly basis (i.e. March, June, September and December).
