US Environmental Protection Agency National Coastal Assessment for American Samoa 2004: water quality, sediment grain, and chemistry data (NCEI Accession 0000455)
공공데이터포털
In 2004, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Environmental Monitoring and Assessment Program (EMAP) National Coastal Assessment (NCA), coordinated through the Gulf Ecology Division, conducted a comprehensive survey of the condition of estuarine resources in American Samoa. The survey sampled 49 stations on islands of Tutuila, Aunu'u Ofu, Olosega, Ta'u during April and August, 2004. The WATER QUALITY MEASUREMENTS data set contains two types of data: hydrologic profile water quality information resulting from in-field observations of physical data and water quality information resulting from laboratory examination of water quality samples for nutrient analyses. The SEDIMENT CHEMISTRY data set contains sediment contaminant information resulting from laboratory examination of samples collected at sites. Each record reports the contaminant name and its associated measured concentration, date site was visited, and the group that collected the data. Only one grab per site was required by the program. The SEDIMENT GRAIN data set contains sediment grain analyses information resulting from laboratory examination of samples collected at sites visited during probability surveys. Each record reports the sediment component and its associated measured concentration, date site was visited, and the group that collected the data. Only one grab per site was required by the program.

공공데이터포털
Time-series data of water surface elevation, wave height, and water column currents, temperature, and salinity were acquired for 150 days between 13 April and 14 July 2015 off the north coast of the island of Tutuila, American Samoa in support of a study on the coastal circulation patterns within and in the vicinity of the National Park of American Samoa.
2022 NOAA NGS Topobathy Lidar DEM of Ofu and Olosega, American Samoa
공공데이터포털
This data was collected by Woolpert using a Leica HawkEye 4X sensor. The data was acquired from 20221022 - 20221202. The data includes topobathy data in LAS 1.4 format classified as unclassified (1), ground (2), low noise (7), topo water surface (9), high noise (18), bathymetric point (40), bathymetric water surface (41), synthetic derived water surface (42), submerged object (43), International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) S-57 object (44), submerged aquatic vegetation (64), and bathymetric bottom temporal changes (65) in accordance with project specifications. The lidar data in ellipsoid heights was used to create the final topobathymetric DEMs in ellipsoid heights. Lidar data classes 2, 40 and 43 were used to generate a raster in geotiff format, with 1 meter pixel resolution for the entire area. The raster was then clipped to the tile grid and named according to project specifications to result in tiled 5000m x 5000m topobathymetric DEMs. The project consists of approximately 53 square kilometers of data collected in Ofu-Olesega, American Samoa. This dataset contains 6 5000 m x 5000 m raster tiles.

2004 Reson 8101ER Multibeam Sonar Data from Cruise AHI0402 collected around Tutuila, Ofu, Olosega, and Ta'u Islands, Territory of American Samoa.
공공데이터포털
Abstract Reson 8101ER multibeam Data were collected from 30 January and March 12, 2004, aboard NOAA Survey Launch Acoustic Habitat Investigator (AHI) at Tutuila, Ofu, Olosega, and Ta'u Islands in the Territory of American Samoa during cruise AHI0402. The data were logged into datasets titled Manua and Tutuila. These multibeam data were collected using SAIC ISS-2000 software in the Generic Sensor Format and processed using SABER editing software. Sound velocity corrections from a Seabird SBE19 CTD sensor and motion corrections from a POS-MV vertical reference were applied to the data in real time. Predicted tides were applied to the data in real time. Horizontal accuracy is 20m (no differential GPS correctors applied), vertical accuracy is depth dependent (~1% of water depth), WGS84 datum. These data are not to be used for navigation. Depths mapped range from 10 - 300 m. The AHI was deployed from the NOAA Ship Oscar E. Sette and surveyed independently during ship operations in other locations in American Samoa. The multibeam bathymetric data in generic sensor format from AHI0402 were submitted to NOAA's National Geophysical Data Center (NGDC) in Boulder, CO, for distribution in 2005.
