The invention relates to a roller ( 21 ) from a refractory material, for example in vitreous silica, for transporting a flat article provided at its end with a new arrangement for rotationally driving it as well as to an assembly of such a roller and its driving device. This roller ( 21 ) comprises an external surface ( 2 ), an inner surface ( 5 ) and two side surfaces ( 12 ), at least one side surface having indentations ( 22 ) parallel to the roller axis ( 3 ) and spaced apart from the external ( 2 ) and inner surface ( 5 ) for receiving rotationally driving pins ( 8 ), it is characterized in that at least one of the indentations ( 22 ) of the roller is provided with a metal jacket ( 24 ). The invention permits to avoid the breakage of the roller around the driving indentations.

A conveying device ( 1 ) which is particular in that the conveying device comprises a plurality of conveying elements ( 2 ), where each conveying element ( 2 ) comprises a chain box element ( 4 ) in which at least one transport roller ( 3 ) is rotatably fixed such that rollers ( 3 ) arranged in adjacent conveying elements ( 2 ) define the conveying device transport plane, and that chain box elements ( 4 ) of adjacent conveying elements are interconnected in such a way that one conveying element may articulate in relation to adjacent conveying elements, and that at least some of the chain box elements in the conveying device comprise drive elements directly engaging and rotating the transport rollers ( 3 ).

A conveying device ( 1 ) which is particular in that the conveying device comprises a plurality of conveying elements ( 2 ), where each conveying element ( 2 ) comprises a chain box element ( 4 ) in which at least one transport roller ( 3 ) is rotatably fixed such that rollers ( 3 ) arranged in adjacent conveying elements ( 2 ) define the conveying device transport plane, and that chain box elements ( 4 ) of adjacent conveying elements are interconnected in such a way that one conveying element may articulate in relation to adjacent conveying elements, and that at least some of the chain box elements in the conveying device comprise drive elements directly engaging and rotating the transport rollers ( 3 ).

A plastic conveyor belt module with embedded spherical rollers retained in the module and a belt constructed of such modules. The module includes a module body forming a cavity, a spherical roller in the cavity, and a retainer retained in the cavity to hold the spherical roller rotatably in place. A salient portion of the roller extends outward from the cavity through the retainer past an outer surface of the module. The retainer is attached to the module body by ultrasonic welding, epoxy- or solvent-bonding, spin welding, electromagnetic welding, staking, screwing, or locking.

The device has a base plate (2) with socket for holding a side wall (4) and fixing means for rollers (5, 6) mounted on assembly plates (20). The socket has a further preferably iron plate (3) which is mounted fixed with the assembly plate on the base plate. The iron plate, assembly plate and base plate can have corresponding holes and grooves for screw fixing.

The paper winding machine has a large support roller (1) which fits against the roll (3) of paper. Two smaller support rollers (4, 5) are mounted above the large roller, on either side of it, so that they form a nip with the paper roll.

A mixer apparatus for use with a vessel centered about a longitudinal axis is disclosed. The mixer has a tubular blade which: defines a central head axis; has a first end and a second end spaced from the first end along the head axis; and tapers from the first end to the second end. The outer surface of the blade and the second end define an inside blade diameter "ID" and the outer surface of the blade and the first end define an outside blade diameter "OD". The blade is positioned within and coaxial to the vessel. A scotch yoke, operatively connected to the blade by a shaft, effects reciprocating longitudinal movement of the blade through a stroke "S", with a duration "T" for each stroke, wherein 175≲0.36 xOD2/ID2xS/T≲ 250 when OD, ID and S are expressed in inches, and T is expressed in minutes.

The invention concerns a device (1) for manipulating tools comprising two parts, said device being of the type consisting of a frame and at least one tray forming a table, designed to receive the mold. The invention is characterized in that it comprises two horizontally arranged trays (6, 9-7, 8) one of which is arranged sliding on the frame to be mobile in translation relative to the other tray, from a close position to a remote position and inversely, so as to enable the tool to be manually opened and closed.

The conveyor has a driver, a useful mass and a counter mass which can be brought into a mutually oppositely oscillating rotational vibrating movement about a central axis of rotation by the driver. The useful mass and the counter mass are mounted so that they can be moved with respect to one another over spring arrangements which are distributed about an axis of rotation. A portion of the useful mass is a pot which is located detachably and exchangeable. The moments of inertia of the useful mass and of the counter mass are in a defined ratio to one another. The pot, which can be mounted exchangeably, is designed so that the moment of inertia of the useful mass and, with that, the ratio of the moments of inertia remain essentially unchanged. The moments of inertia are identical or that the moment of inertia of the useful mass is larger than that of the counter mass.

The present invention relates to a mobile joint ( 1 ) with spring resistance, suitable for a sitting device, comprising a first and a second joint element ( 10, 20 ), which are pivotally connected by a shaft ( 3 ), to allow tilting of the sitting device caused by the displacement of the users weight, comprising a first and a second parallel plate spring ( 18, 19 ) with first and second ends, with an intermediate blocking element ( 11 ), wherein each plate spring ( 18, 19 ) in the first end are connected to the first joint element ( 10 ), and in the second end are glidingly abutting the second joint element ( 20 ), the first and second plate spring ( 18, 19 ) each having an axis of rotation that is displaced in relation to each other and the shaft ( 3 ).
