The device (1) comprises a base (2), carrying a servo motor (3) and attached to the frame of a machine center. A carriage (6) with a vertical shaft (8) on top can be moved on two telescopically arranged rails (4,5) joined horizontally to the base (2). The tool holding elements (16,17) are positioned at the upper end of the shaft (8) and can be fixed with a locking unit (18). A control plate (12) is located at the second rail (5) acting in combination with a guiding roll (10) in order to facilitate a swivel motion of the tool carrier (15).

The device has two parts (12,14) that can be plugged together and that can be coupled by a sliding element (16) fed into one connector part, especially transversely to the plugging direction, and a securing element (24) movable between a starting position and an end position in which it fixes the sliding part in its end position. The securing element is locked in its starting position and is only released for movement to its end position with the connector parts coupled.

u The device comprises a store (5) for connection elements (4), a transfer arrangement (7) for transferring the connection element from the store to a pressing assembly (8, 13, 14). There may be an arrangement of counter-layers opposite the pressing assembly and one or more magazines (6) for receiving and intermediate layering from the store of connection elements to the transfer arrangement. The arrangement for the magazine may be on the longitudinal side of a transport system (1, 2) for the technical wooden product (3) above or below the transport plane of the wooden product. The store may be made up of a discharge, sorting, aligning and conveying system for pre-fabricated connection element to the transfer arrangement.

The device has a connecting link (10) and an intake plate that comprises a retainer, where the intake plate is rotatable around 180 degrees. An actuator engages at an actuator point and is connected with a linear drive (7). The intake plate comprises a pivot bearing (9) whose axis coincides with the actuator point. A guiding pin is arranged between the tool and a stacking station and the connecting link comprises two linear sections (11) and a V-shaped section (12) between the two sections.

A new apparatus is disclosed that can be assembled quickly and reliably. The apparatus contains a transfer module (40), at least two support modules (20) firmly connected to said transfer module (40) and at least two carrier elements (A,B,C) firmly connected to said transfer module (40) and bearing said transfer module (40). The apparatus is particularly useful for performing multistep analytical processes that require precise access of tools of a transfer tool to items on a working area.

The device has a measuring tape (4) attached by clamping to a concave surface (3) of a carrier body (1). The extent of the concave surface is defined by detent surfaces (6,7) on each end of the measuring tape. At least one of the detent surfaces is adjustable using an adjusting device (9), so that the spacing of the detent surfaces can be matched to the length of the measuring tape.

A conveying device ( 1 ) which is particular in that the conveying device comprises a plurality of conveying elements ( 2 ), where each conveying element ( 2 ) comprises a chain box element ( 4 ) in which at least one transport roller ( 3 ) is rotatably fixed such that rollers ( 3 ) arranged in adjacent conveying elements ( 2 ) define the conveying device transport plane, and that chain box elements ( 4 ) of adjacent conveying elements are interconnected in such a way that one conveying element may articulate in relation to adjacent conveying elements, and that at least some of the chain box elements in the conveying device comprise drive elements directly engaging and rotating the transport rollers ( 3 ).

A power transmitting apparatus comprises a housing (3) having an opening at its end surface in the longitudinal direction thereof to be closed by a cover member (33), which supports an end of a brake support shaft (60) rotatably supporting a brake shoe (61). A hydraulic cylinder (63) for operation the brake shoe (61) is detachably attached to a side wall of the housing (3). A piston (64) of the hydraulic cylinder (63) contacts with a free end of the brake shoe (61). The cover member (33) also supports ends of a clutch shaft (26) and a PTO shaft (29), while a clutch housing (38) of a PTO clutch (27) is provided on the clutch shaft (26) so as to be braked by the brake shoe (61) in the state of the PTO clutch disengaged, thereby constituting a subassembly. By attaching the cover member (33) to the end surface of the housing (3) so as to close the opening, all the brake support shaft (60), the clutch shaft (26) and the PTO shaft (29) supported by the cover member (33) are installed in the housing (3).

A buckle (10) comprising a decorative outer frame (11) having a circumferential top wall (12) and opposed depending side walls extending rearwardly of the top wall (12). A channel (15) is defined between the depending side walls under the top wall (12). A casted back member is provided with a projection portion which is configured to be received in the channel (15). The outer frame is retained on the casted back member by bending the outer one of the side walls under the projection portion which is received at least in part in the channel (15). The casted back may have a variety of designs and attachments all formed in a single casting.
