Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB) Residue Effects Database
The PCB Residue Effects (PCBRes) Database was developed to assist scientists and risk assessors in correlating PCB and dioxin-like compound residues with toxic effects. The purpose is to develop PCB critical residue values for fish, mammals and birds, especially as these relate to aquatic and aquatic-dependent species.

PCB Data (excel file) and PFAS Data (excel file)
공공데이터포털
Analytical and field sampling data for each 2018-2019 NRSA Fish Tissue Study chemical contaminant are provided, along with a data dictionary that describes the contents of each data file. All results for the fillet tissue concentrations are reported on a wet weight basis. All the fish fillet samples analyzed contained detectable levels of mercury and PCBs, and PFAS were detected in 95% of the fillet samples. This dataset is associated with the following publication: Stahl, L., B.D. Snyder, H.B. McCarty, T. Kincaid, A. Olsen, T.R. Cohen, and J. Healey. Contaminants in Fish from U.S. Rivers: Probability-Based National Assessments. SCIENCE OF THE TOTAL ENVIRONMENT. Elsevier BV, AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS, 861(25): 160557, (2023).
PCBs BSAF Data 1Feb2024
공공데이터포털
Fish biometric data and fish tissue data (total PCB concentration, lipid content, carbon and nitrogen stable isotope ratios) associated with the study "Incorporating habitat use and life history to predict PCBs residues in fish" by Hoffman et al. Sediment data (total PCB concentration, carbon content) can be found in the NOAA DIVER data portal and the link is included. This dataset is associated with the following publication: Hoffman, J., T. Hollenhorst, G. Peterson, J. Launspach, E. Coffman, and L. Burkhard. Incorporating habitat use and life history to predict PCB residues in wild fish in an urban estuary. MARINE POLLUTION BULLETIN. Polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) and geochemical concentrations of source and target sediment and sediment cores and PCB concentrations in sediment porewater collected from the Back River watershed, Maryland 2023
공공데이터포털
These data were collected as part of a study that used a sediment fingerprinting model to better understand sources of PCB-contaminated suspended sediments within stormflow in the Back River watershed. This metadata record contains 4 tables of data used to model and assess the source of storm sediment collected within the Back River watershed in Maryland in 2023. Included in the dataset are analytical results from sediment samples collected from the landscape, in stream banks, during storms using passive samplers, and intact cores, and analyzed for (1) PCB, (2) elemental metals and carbon content, and (3) grain size. Also included are calculated PCB concentrations in porewater using sediment concentration from storm and core samples.
PCBs measured in three tributaries of the Niagara River Area of Concern (AOC), 2018-2019
공공데이터포털
Water-borne polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) were sampled in three tributaries of the Niagara River Area of Concern (AOC) in 2018 and 2019 using semipermeable membrane devices (SPMDs). This data set is a compilation of data from two sampling efforts, focused on determining the presence and distribution of total and congener PCBs in these tributaries.
Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCB) Concentrations of Passive Samplers, Solids, Fat, Oil, and Greases (FOG), and Road Sediments; and Dissolved Organic Carbon (DOC), Total Suspended Solids (TSS), and Particulate Organic Carbon (POC) Concentrations in the Back River Watershed, Baltimore City, Maryland, 2018-2020
공공데이터포털
This metadata record contains 6 tables used to assess sources of Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCB) in the Back River watershed, Baltimore City, Maryland. Included in the dataset are PCB concentrations of surface water and porewater passive samplers from Herring Run, Moores Run, tidal Back River, and Back River Wastewater Treatment Plant; PCB concentrations of bed sediments and other solids, Fat, Oil, and Grease (FOG) samples, and road sediments; dissolved organic carbon (DOC), total suspended solids (TSS), and particulate organic carbon (POC) concentrations of grab samples; and PCB concentrations of passive samplers from pump stations collected in 2018-2020.
