Rail Yards
The North American Rail Network (NARN) Rail Yards dataset was created in 2024 and was updated on October 16, 2024 from the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). This Rail Yards layer represents and is derived from where the North American Rail Network (NARN) Lines layer as aggregated by type of track designated as yards. A rail yard is an area consisting of a network of tracks where trains are stored and/or maintained. The NARN Rail Lines dataset is a database that provides ownership, trackage rights, type, passenger, STRACNET, and geographic reference for North America's railway system at 1:24,000 or better within the United States. The data set covers all 50 States, the District of Columbia, Mexico, and Canada.

National Bridge Inventory
공공데이터포털
The National Bridge Inventory dataset is as of June 27, 2024 from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The data describes more than 615,000 of the Nation's bridges located on public roads, including Interstate Highways, U.S. highways, State and county roads, as well as publicly-accessible bridges on Federal and Tribal lands. The inventory data present a complete picture of the location, description, classification, and general condition data for each bridge. The element data present a breakdown of the condition of each structural and bridge management element for each bridge on the National Highway System (NHS). The Recording and Coding Guide for the Structure Inventory and Appraisal of the Nation's Bridges contains a detailed description of each data element including coding instructions and attribute definitions. The Coding Guide is available at: https://doi.org/10.21949/1519105.
NHTSA Regions
공공데이터포털
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) Regions dataset is as of July 14, 2023 from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). This dataset depicts NHTSA's Regional Operations and Program Delivery Office regional boundaries. It identifies which states and territories are associated with each region. NHTSA's regions help States use data to identify their highway safety challenges, evaluate safety programs and activities, and provide technical assistance to State program managers to support the implementation of impactful behavioral highway safety programs.
FRA Office Locations
공공데이터포털
The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) Office Locations dataset was created on October 13, 2022 from the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). These locations show FRA office locations, based on railroad company and Safety Management Teams (SMTs). The Safety Management Teams serve as the Office of Railroad Safety's main liaison with the senior leadership of the Nation's railroads. Each of the nine Safety Management Teams is assigned to either a Class I railroad or a group of railroads and provides safety oversight of the respective railroad system(s). The Safety Management Teams represent FRA with the railroads, and they communicate and coordinate with FRA's Staff Directors, Accident Analysis Branch, Audit Management Program, and other Safety Management Teams.
Airports
공공데이터포털
The Airports dataset includes all official and operational aerodromes as of July 16, 2020 and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). The Airports database is a geographic point database of official operational aerodromes in the United States and U.S. Territories. Attribute data is provided on the physical and operational characteristics of the aerodrome, current usage including enplanements and aircraft operations, congestion levels and usage categories. This geospatial data is derived from the FAA's National Airspace System Resource Aeronautical Data Product.
National Road Network (NRN) - AB, Alberta
공공데이터포털
The NRN product is distributed in the form of thirteen provincial or territorial datasets and consists of two linear entities (Road Segment and Ferry Connection Segment) and three punctual entities (Junction, Blocked Passage, Toll Point) with which is associated a series of descriptive attributes such as, among others: First House Number, Last House Number, Street Name Body, Place Name, Functional Road Class, Pavement Status, Number Of Lanes, Structure Type, Route Number, Route Name, Exit Number. The development of the NRN was realized by means of individual meetings and national workshops with interested data providers from the federal, provincial, territorial and municipal governments. In 2005, the NRN edition 2.0 was alternately adopted by members from the Inter-Agency Committee on Geomatics (IACG) and the Canadian Council on Geomatics (CCOG). The NRN content largely conforms to the ISO 14825 from ISO/TC 204.
Travel Monitoring Analysis System Stations
공공데이터포털
The Travel Monitoring Analysis System (TMAS) - Stations dataset was compiled on December 31, 2023 and was published on July 22, 2024 from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and is part of the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT)/Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS) National Transportation Atlas Database (NTAD). Geospatial station data from the FHWA TMAS database contains latitude and longitude data from over 7,000 permanent (temporal data representing each time period) traffic monitoring sites in all 50 states plus DC. Data from these stations are submitted to FHWA every month and is a result of a long standing partnership between FHWA and the state DOTs.

Roadway National Highway System
공공데이터포털
Roadway National Highway System (NHS) consists of linear geometric features which specifically show public roadways included in the National Highway System (NHS) within the State of Maryland. Roadway National Highway System (NHS) data is classified by NHS Description Type, which includes Expanded NHS, Major Airport, Major Inter-City Bus Terminal, Major Pipeline Terminal, Major Port Facility, Major Transportation or Multi-Modal Passenger Terminal, Major Rail / Truck Terminal, and Non-Connector NHS. Roadway National Highway System (NHS) data is primarily used for general planning purposes, and for Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) annual submission & coordination. The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) currently reports this data only on the inventory direction (generally North or East) side of the roadway. Roadway National Highway System (NHS) data is not a complete representation of all roadway geometry. Roadway National Highway System (NHS) data is developed as part of the Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) which maintains and reports transportation related information to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) on an annual basis. HPMS is maintained by the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA), under the Office of Planning and Preliminary Engineering (OPPE) Data Services Division (DSD). Roadway National Highway System (NHS) data is used by various business units throughout MDOT, as well as many other Federal, State and local government agencies. Roadway National Highway System (NHS) data is key to understanding and identifying which roadways are included within the NHS from the State of Maryland. Roadway National Highway System (NHS) data is updated and published on an annual basis for the prior year. This data is for the year 2017.
