데이터셋 상세
미국
San Rafael River, Castle Dale, Utah, 2016
NCALM Seed. PI: Alistair T. Hayden, California Institute of Technology The requested survey area consisted of one polygon located south of Price, UT. The polygon encloses approximately 38 km2 (15 mi2). The survey will support a study on using inverted channels to reconstruct river dynamics and 3D architecture of alluvial stratigraphy on Earth and Mars.

Illinois River, OR, Coast Ranges, 2016
공공데이터포털
NCALM Seed. PI: Wesley von Dassow, Oregon State University The requested survey area consisted of three polygons located west of Grants Pass, OR. The polygons enclose approximately 40 km2 (15 mi2). The survey will support a study on quantifying differential incision and rock uplift along the Illinois River, OR, Coast Ranges.
Straight Cliffs Formation, South-Central Utah, 2016
공공데이터포털
NCALM Seed. PI: Alex Koch, University of Utah The requested survey area consisted of two polygons located east of Bryce, UT. The polygons enclose approximately 39 km2 (15 mi2). The survey will support a study on coupling of a high resolution base DEM and ultra-high resolution terrestrial DOMs to inform correlation of fluvial strata in the Straight Cliffs Formation, South-Central, Utah.
Santa Clarita Topography
공공데이터포털
This dataset was collected as an NCALM Seed grant for PI Katherine Lowe, University of Michigan, for the purpose of studying the effects of topography on peak ground acceleration. The requested survey area consisted of a polygon located 70 km northwest of Los Angeles, CA. The polygon encloses approximately 45.13 square km.
Gabilan Mesa, CA: Valley Alluviation effects on Hillslope-Channel Coupling
공공데이터포털
NCALM Seed. PI: Sam Johnstone, Stanford University. The requested survey area is an irregular polygon located 10 km east of King City, California in the Wildhorse Valley of the Gabilan Mesa. The data were collected to investigate the impacts of valley alluviation on hillslope-channel coupling. The polygon at its widest point is approximately 13 km long by 5 km high and encloses approximately 75 square km. The survey took place on August 11, 2013.
Southwest Flank of Mt.Rainier, WA
공공데이터포털
NCALM Seeds. PIs: Nicholas Legg, Oregon State University and Scott Anderson, University of Colorado, Boulder. The requested survey area consisted of two separate polygons within the boundary of Mount Rainier National Park in Washington on the southwestern flank of the volcano. Their close proximity enabled the two surveys to be flown most efficiently as a single polygon. The eastern polygon (Legg) covers the Kautz Creek watershed and was collected to investigate landscape response to debris flows in order to implicate hazards in Mt. Rainier National Park. The western polygon (Anderson) covers the Tahoma Creek watershed and was collected to assess climatically-driven aggradation in a mountain stream. The total area for the combined survey including the area between the requested polygons and the additional coverage in the northwest corner is approximately 123 square kilometers. The survey required 4 flights which took place from August 28, 2012 - September 1, 2012.
San Isabel NF, CO: Debris Flow Mechanics and Landscape Evolution
공공데이터포털
NCALM Seed. PI: Scott McCoy, University of Colorado, Boulder. The survey area consisted of a 55 square kilometer polygon located 125 kilometers west of Colorado Springs, southwest of Buena Vista in Colorado. Data were collected as a multi-scale natural experiment to investigate debris flow mechanics and landscape evolution.
Harper Lake Fault Slip Distribution, Central Mojave, CA
공공데이터포털
NCALM Project. PI: Jacob Selander, University of California, Davis. The original Seed project requested survey area of 40 km2 was defined by two irregular polygons located along the Harper Lake Fault in the areas adjacent Gravel and Waterman Hills. Additional funding was secured to add two additional areas also located along the faults and between the original two polygons. The combined area of all the four polygons totaled 75.875 km2. The final data collection has an area of 246 km2 The Harper lake fault is aligned between the towns of Barstow and Ridgecrest, California. Two flights were required to collect the data. Both flights took place on Sunday June 17, 2012. It was collected on a Sunday because part of the survey area are underneath Restricted airspace controlled by the Edwards Air Force Base and access to it is preferably granted on Sundays. Also due to airspace restrictions the flying height above average ground was 900m rather than the preferred 600m. The plan consisted of 16 project lines running NW-SE along the fault center line.
Point Reyes, CA: Landscape Response to Tectonics
공공데이터포털
NCALM Seed. PI: Kristin Morell, Penn State University. The survey area is 76.31 square kilometers, located 26 kilometers northwest of San Francisco, California in the Point Reyes National Seashore. This survey was flown as a part of Seed Money Survey Campaign that took place in Aug-Sept 2009. This section was surveyed over two days: Sept 8, 2009 and Sept 9, 2009. Lidar data was collected to investigate the landscape response to tectonics by studying the coupling between channels and hillslopes during transient adjustment to an increase in uplift rate.
White Mountain Fault Zone, Owens Valley, CA
공공데이터포털
NCALM Seed. PI: Zachery Lifton, Georgia Institute of Technology. The survey area consisted of a polygon located 15 km northeast of Bishop, California. The polygon is approximately 47 square kilometers. The survey took place on July 04, 2012. Data were collected to investigate new late Pleistocene slip rates on the White Mountain fault based on lidar data and geochronology.
