TTVP Retail Market Spot Check Audit Database
The data set contains information on retail market spot check audit purchases of tuna in airtight containers. Data are available from May 2001 to present with new data appended annually. Information includes the date, location, product type, store information where random spot check purchases were made throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Information on purchased product allows the manufacturer, distributor or importer to track the tuna back to harvest and verify the dolphin-safe status of the tuna product.

US Tuna Cannery Receipts
공공데이터포털
The data set contains receipts of tuna destined for canning, from both domestic and imported sources, at cannery locations within the 50 states, Puerto Rico, and American Samoa. Monthly data are available electronically from 1979 to present with new data currently uploaded annually (this may change to quarterly or monthly uploads sometime in 2020). Data elements include species, product condition, flag of catcher vessel, ocean area of harvest, harvesting gear type, harvesting vessel trip dates, unloading dates, carrier vessel name, location, cannery location, fishing vessel registration number, weights and dolphin-safe status. Non-summarized proprietary data are considered business confidential.
NOAA Form 370 Database
공공데이터포털
The data set contains information from submitted NOAA Form 370s, also known as the Fisheries Certificate of Origin, for imported shipments of frozen and/or processed tuna. Data collection from May 2001 to September 2016 is contained in an Access database and in hard copy format (subject to NARA disposition schedules). From September 2016 to present, data is stored in the NMFS Office of Science and Technology ITDS database. Data elements include the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) entry number, CBP entry date, HTS code, flag of catcher vessel, ocean area, gear type, and trip dates, and dolphin safe status. Non-summarized data is considered to be business confidential information and is protected from release by law.
Commercial Passenger Fishing Vessel Fishery
공공데이터포털
This data set contains the logbook data from U.S.A. Commercial Passenger Fishing Vessels (CPFV) fishing in the U.S.A. EEZ and in waters off of Baja California, from 1980 to present. These fishing vessels carry sport fishermen and target both HMS and non-HMS species. California CPFV operators submit mandatory logbooks to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW). CPFV operators in Washington and Oregon that target albacore submit mandatory logbooks to SWFSC since the implementation of the HMS Fisheries Management Plan in 2005. Logbook data contain information on locations fished, ports of landing, number of anglers, hours fished, species, number of fish kept, and interactions with marine mammals.
Bluefin Tuna Commercial Domestic Landings
공공데이터포털
All commercially landed bluefin tuna must be reported to the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) so that NMFS can ensure the fishery stays within the U.S. quota. Bluefin tuna are internationally managed under the binding recommendations of the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT). The United States receives an annual bluefin tuna quota and may be penalized if the quota is exceeded. Landings data are also used by U.S. and ICCAT scientists to estimate the status of the resource. Data elements include dealer, dealer permit number, date of landing, port, vessel name, vessel permit number, fish length, fish weight, gear type.
SC/OQ Dealer Database
공공데이터포털
To store data submitted electronically by SC/OQ dealers.
Sample Receipt
공공데이터포털
Each sample that is received by NSIL is assigned a laboratory number and a case file is initiated by the sample custodian. The case file will contain all relevant paperwork for that sample including the sample submission sheet, laboratory raw data worksheets, the final results report and any other relevant documentation. The sample custodian enters the client information into the NSIL Sample tracking system (Sample receipt database) and generates appropriate client and sample receipt information. The laboratory analysts perform the appropriate analyses and record the results and whether the results are compliant or non-compliant with the assigned acceptance levels. The analysts also record the record of charges and the analytical and quality assurance units that were used to complete all analysis. The database is used to track samples analyzed by NSIL from sample receipt to reporting of results. It tracks numbers of samples, number of analytical units, types of samples, purpose for sampling ans analytical costs.
NC multispecies UME spreadsheets
공공데이터포털
Data from strandings included as part of the UME. All data are included in the Tech Memo.
Fisheries One Stop Shop Public Data 2009 - Present
공공데이터포털
The purpose of the Fisheries One-Stop-Shop (FOSS) is to make fisheries dependent information readily available to fisheries managers, scientists and the American public at a national as well as regional level. Collection and management of fisheries dependent data are distributed throughout NOAA Fisheries, State Fisheries, management agencies and regional Fisheries Information Networks (FINs). The distributed nature of NOAA Fisheries information systems, differences in collection authorities and confidentiality requirements increases the importance of this flexible technical architecture that can meet the changing needs for information at national, regional and local levels of resolution. At the same time, the technical architecture is scalable to meet enterprise wide requirements for management of other types of fisheries data and fisheries independent data. Currently available via FOSS are the summarized, non-confidential, annual Commercial Landings by state as provided through the Atlantic Coastal Cooperative Statistics Program (ACCSP), the Gulf of Mexico Fisheries Information Network (GulfFIN). Recreational Landings estimates are available and provided via NMFS Headquarters. In FY2011, FOSS will be expanded to include all commercial landings nationally.
Commercial Landings Monitoring Reports (Coastal Dealers)
공공데이터포털
This data set contains pounds and value for all seafood products that are landed and sold by established seafood dealers and brokers in the SE Region of the US mainland. Data is collected electronically and transmitted to the NMFS and its state partners from each purchase the seafood dealer makes from a federally permitted fishing vessel.
American Samoa Cannery (Length-Frequency) Sampling
공공데이터포털
From 2001-2013, in coordination with Pacific Islands Regional Office's (PIRO) Tuna Treaty Monitoring Program, the Size Frequency Sampling Program at the cannery collected length-frequency data from American Samoa-based longliners, in addition to the purse seiners offloading at the cannery (which was the primary target of this PIRO program). Â Only the length-frequency data for the top 5-10 longline species were stored by WPacFIN for use in estimating weight of landings from longliners (only species and number kept/released are collected in longline logbooks). Â Only the data collected by PIRO staff on South Pacific Regional Longline Port Sampling Form were entered by DMWR staff into a database provided by WPacFIN. The bulk of this purse seine sampling program's data went to the Southwest Fisheries Science Center.
