Franklin Voyage FR 10/97 HPLC Pigment and Ocean Colour Data
공공데이터포털
The data were collected at a total of 23 stations on the Franklin cruise 10/97. These samples were taken along the St Helens, Schouten Island, Tasman Island, Bruny Island, SE Cape, Pt Davey, Strahan, Marawah and King Island transects. The data were collected to determine the bio-optical charateristics of this region. The data can be used for Ocean Colour and CDOM sensor validation. Parameters measured are the concentration of chlorophyll and carotenoid pigments and the absorption coefficient for dissolved (CDOM) particulate (a/p) and detrital or non-algal (a/d) components of the water column. There were 2 parts to this cruise- leg 1 was from Townsville to Hobart, during which underway samples were collected for pigment analysis, with matching fluorescence values. About 35 samples from 19.38.33S,148.5.49E (25/11/97) to 39.30.92S, 143.59.16E (30/11/97)were collected on leg 1. Leg 2- on the transect around Tasmania, pigment and spectral absorbance samples were collected at depths, as well as underway samples.
Chlorophyll a concentrations in Albatross Bay
공공데이터포털
Data showing chlorophyll a concentrations in Albatross Bay, Gulf of Carpentaria. Phytoplankton pigment composition (chlorophyll a concentration) was measured in Albatross Bay, Gulf of Carpentaria, northern Australia. Four sites were sampled over six years between August 1986 and April 1992. In the last two years samples were taken at the bottom of the water column in addition to mid-depth. This data has been produced by CSIRO for the National Oceans Office, as part of an ongoing commitment to natural resource planning and management through the 'National Marine Bioregionalisation' project.
WATER TEMPERATURE and Other Data from BARTLETT and Other Platforms from 1956-09-11 to 1982-06-29 (NCEI Accession 8800286)
공공데이터포털
The chlorophyll data from Booth Bay Harbor in Gulf of Maine were submitted by Dr. Charles Yentsch from Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences. The data was collected aboard several vessels (Atlantis, Crawford, Bear, Chain, Knorr, Tioga, and Oceanographer) and in different sites over a period spanning from September 1956 to June 1982. Reference numbers L00843 thru L00862 represent the different cruises. Only date, latitude/longitude, depth, cruise, and chlorophyll (in mg/m3) are reported.
SeaWiFS calibration/validation historical pigment database 1993 (NCEI Accession 9400037)
공공데이터포털
The Profiles of Chlorophyll data from NASA Goddard and Phytoplankton wet weight data in this accession was submitted by Mr. Charles R. McClain of US National Aeronautic and Space Administration, Washington DC. The data was collected in 15 different oceans and compiled in SeaWiFS calibration/validation historical pigment database. There are two versions of the data base. One contains approx. 180,000 records for depths of 0-10 meters. A second file contains approx. 330,000 records and includes all available depths provided by the individual investigators. Detailed Documentation is available for data format.
