Maitland LGA Vegetation 2003. VIS ID 444
공공데이터포털
Maitland City Council(MCC)Vegetation Mapping by Lisa Hill in 2003. Vegetation distribution map for lands within the extent of the local government area, excluding those contained within National Park or State Forest Reserves. Systematic vegetation survey was carried out in Maitland LGA to provide Maitland Council with detailed information on natural vegetation for strategic planning purposes. Flora was sampled at 55 field sites (plots) and extensive field reconnaissance was carried out across the LGA. Agglomerative cluster analysis of plot data delineated eleven vegetation communities and an additional two communities were described by previous work in the LGA work (NPWS 2000). A total of 8,305 ha of extant vegetation was mapped in Maitland LGA using aerial photograph interpretation (API) at 1:25,000 scale. This included thirteen vegetation communities and areas of scattered trees and regeneration that did not constitute intact communities. Much of the vegetation in the LGA has affiliation with vegetation in the central, lower and mid Hunter valley, with areas in the south-east of the LGA more related to coastal vegetation in the lower Hunter-Central Coast Region. Byron LGA Vegetation 2021 VIS ID 5109

Byron Shire Council Vegetation was mapped using a combination of aerial photograph interpretation (API), reviewing existing information (eg. vegetation survey data from various council and state government projects), and on-ground site inspections. It was originally mapped in 2015 from 2009 and 2012 aerial photography, updated spatially by Landmark Ecological Services Pty Ltd in 2017 along with PCT classes, and slightly revised in 2019 and again in 2021. Reconstructed Distribution and Extent of Native Vegetation within the Lower Macquarie-Castlereagh Region VIS ID 816
공공데이터포털
Existing Vegetation Map of Lower Macquarie-Castlereagh Region. Vegetation Map from M. Kerr, A. Jowett & R. Robson. Unpublished. Reconstructed Distribution and Extent of Native Vegetation within the Lower Macquarie-Castlereagh Region. Two maps were produced: Reconstructed vegetation showing the probable full extent of vegetation coverage in the region and An approximation of the existing vegetation, allocated to four current landuse categories: managed for conservation, uncleared and grazde, cleared and grazed and recently cultivated. Two key outputs were a regional reconstructed vegetation map (commonly termed ""pre-clearing"" map) and a map depicting existing vegetation coverage. For the purposes of this project, reconstructed vegetation was defined as native vegetation that is likely to have occurred on currently cleared or highly modified land, as extrapolated from existing vegetation, such that ecological processes and function are broadly reflected. Ten datasets were used as a basis for the development of the reconstructed map, which was developed through subjective analysis of vegetation groups described and mapped by existing studies. A further five GIS layers were used to determine the extent of recent cultivation in the RVMP area and current extent of woody vegetation. Thirty-six broad vegetation types were identified from the existing data, and grouped into fifteen vegetation associations. Each broad vegetation type is described in terms of dominant species, variation in structure, common associated native and introduced species, and its relationship with soils and landform. An indication of the regional reservation of each broad vegetation type is also provided. (VIS_ID 816)
