Zooplankton, nutrients, and other data were collected from bottle and net casts in the South Pacific and Equatorial Pacific Oceans from the CORIOLIS from 05 April 1981 to 16 August 1981. Zooplankton data include taxonomic identifications, total wet weights, and settled volumes. Nutrient data include concentration profiles of oxygen, phosphate, nitrate, nitrite, silicate and chlorophyll a. Data also include temperatures and salinity profiles. Data are comma-delimited ascii text in a comma-separated value (.csv) format.

Zooplankton data were collected using net casts in the North Pacific Ocean from FRANCISCO DE ULLOA. Data were collected from 01 January 1999 to 31 January 1999. Data were submitted by Center for Scientific Investigation and Higher Education, Ensenada, Mexico with support from the Investigaciones Mexicannas De La Corriente De California (IMECOCAL) project.

Zooplankton biomass data were collected from net tows from the South Pacific Ocean. Data were collected by the Bedford Institute of Oceanography (BIO) from 27 January 1967 to 26 November 1967. Zooplankton samples were obtained from oblique tows and parameters include maximum tow depth, total water volume passed through net, small plankton volume, total plankton volume, and standard haul factor.

Zooplankton and other data were collected using net casts from T-441 in the Coastal Waters of California. Data were collected from 19 April 1967 to 13 September 1967 by University of California; Institute of Marine Science.

Zooplankton, nutrients, and other data were collected from bottle and net casts in South Atlantic from the Theodore N. Gill from 16 November 1954 to 10 December 1954. Net data include zooplankton displaced volumes, taxonomic counts, and taxonomic names. Bottle data include concentration profiles of total phosphorus, phosphate, nitrate, nitrite, arabinose, and tyrosine. Data are in a comma separated value (.csv) format.

Physical and nutrients data were collected from bottle casts in the South Pacific Ocean and other locations. Data were collected from 03 December 1928 to 01 November 1978. Parameters include temperature and salinity. Parameters also include concentrations of phosphate, oxygen, silicate, and nitrate.

Zooplankton and other data were collected using CTD, bottle casts, and other instruments in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean. Data were collected from 10 September 1963 to 24 August 1964 by Texas Christian University (TCU).

Zooplankton data were collected using zooplankton net casts and other instruments in the Delaware Bay and North Atlantic Ocean from November 3, 1976 to November 18, 1977. Data were submitted by Virginia Institute of Marine Science - Gloucester Point as part of the Ocean Continental Shelf (OCS - Mid Atlantic) project. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard Zooplankton (F004) format. The F124 format is used for data from sampling and analysis of marine zooplankton. Information on zooplankton abundance, distribution, and productivity derived from these data support studies of marine populations and ecosystems. Data reported may include: cruise information, position, date, and time of sampling; bottom depth, sampling depths, temperature, and salinity; gear type, volume of water filtered, total dry and wet weight, and other data for total haul; and data for subsamples by species. Data on zooplankton catch by species may include subsample size, zooplankton concentration, life history code, and numbers of adults, juveniles, eggs, and larvae. Estimated density of holoplankton and meroplankton and data on ichthyoplankton may also be reported. A text record is available for comments. Note: there are two options for reporting subsample counts of individuals at different life history stages. If life history codes are used, only number of adults should be reported on that record. Additional separate records should then be used to report number of juveniles and so on. Alternatively, life history codes may not be used and number of adults, juveniles, and so entered in the proper fields of a single record.
