Focused mapping areas occurred in the Pacific Remote Islands Marine National Monument (PRIMNM) (U.S.) in the vicinity of Kingman Reef and Palmyra Atoll, and Jarvis Island, as well as in the Phoenix Islands Protected Area (PIPA) (Republic of Kiribati).
