GIOTTO JOHNSTONE PARTICLE ANALYZER MERGED DATA V1.0
This dataset contains results from the Implanted Ion Sensor (IIS) 4DH mode and the Fast Ion Sensor SW and HAR modes of the Three- Dimensional Particle Analyzer (JPA) experiment on the GIOTTO spacecraft for the mission to comet Halley. The results of the Fast Ion Sensor (FIS - inbound) and IIS (outbound) have been merged with results from other Giotto instruments. In the first submitted table, magnetometer measurements are included.

GIOTTO JOHNSTONE PARTICLE ANALYSER V1.0
공공데이터포털
This data set contains the results for the Implanted Ion Sensor (IIS) of the Johnstone Particle Analyser (JPA) instrument flown aboard the GIOTTO spacecraft during its extended mission to fly by comet P/Grigg-Skjellerup. The IIS instrument produced data in three modes during the encountered, labelled as 'D4D', 'STC' and 'TOF'. The files in this data set present the results obtained in those modes in the form of flat ASCII files.

GIOTTO JPA/MAG MERGED RESULTS V1.0
공공데이터포털
This data set contains combined and correlated results from the Johnstone Particle Analyser (JPA) and magnetometer experiments flown aboard the Giotto spacecraft during its extended mision to fly by comet P/Grigg-Skjellerup. These data have not been formally reviewed.
GIOTTO C NMS 4 1P/HALLEY V1.0
공공데이터포털
Derived, calibrated density profiles from the NMS ION and NEUTRAL sensors flown on the GIOTTO mission and obtained during the comet Halley fly-by on 13 March 1986. This data set corrects issues found in the GIO-C-NMS-4-86P-V1.0 data set.
GIOTTO ION MASS SPECTROMETER HIGH INTENSITY DATA V1.0
공공데이터포털
A wide range of ion species and velocity distributions are expected to be found as the Giotto spacecraft traverses the coma of Halley's Comet. The outer coma is characterized by the interaction between solar wind and cometary plasmas, the inner coma by the outflow of cometary neutrals and their ionization products. The resultant demands on instrument dynamic range preclude use of a single sensor for measurements of ion composition. The Giotto Ion Mass Spectrometer (IMS) therefore consists of two sensors: one optimized for the outer and the other for the inner coma, with each obtaining complementary information in the region for which it is not optimized. Both sensors feature mass imaging characteristics, thereby permitting simultaneous measurements of several ion species by means of multi-detector arrays. The High Intensity Spectrometer (HIS) was designed to complement the HERS in the inner coma.
