An electric toothbrush having a handpiece, a bristle holder which is arranged on a head portion of the handpiece and is rotatable about an axis of rotation of the bristle holder, and a drive mechanism for the bristle holder. The drive mechanism includes a motor which is arranged on the handpiece, and a transmission member which transfers a driving motion from the motor to the bristle holder. The transmission member is arranged to rock in multiple axes and is arranged to be driven by the motor such that it approximately traverses a double conical path.

The instrument has a sleeve (2) comprising a metal body or core (3) and a sheath (4) surmounted around the metal body or core. The sheath distorts under the effect of a type of sterilization or disinfection such as sterilization by dry heat, by steam or sterilization with ethylene oxide, currently utilized by a practitioner. The sheath is made of material whose melting point is lower than 90[deg]Celsius.

The present invention provides a low-cost, durable dental articulator that does not require the use of toxic or messy glues. The articulator is composed of a pair of bands that encircle and are attached to the plaster upper and lower teeth bases of the model, a pair of spheres that mechanically attach to the bands at any of several positions corresponding to the rear of the mouth on the dental model, and a hinge assembly simulating movement of the jaw and made of two arcs attached to each other at their ends by a hinge mechanism and having clamps at their apexes for attaching to the spheres. The dental model can be adjusted to mimic the occlusion of the patient by adjusting the position at which the spheres are attached to the bands and the position of the spheres in the clamps.

The invention relates to a color chamber doctor blade 1 , which has following characteristic features: two doctor blade knives 2 that can be set up in a roof-like fashion against a roller 6 from which two doctor blade knives 2 can be fixed on the doctor blade chamber body 5 by means of a clamping plate 3 whereby the clamping plate 3 is in active connection with long-stretch fasteners 4 in the axial direction (z) of the roller 6, which are arranged essentially parallel to the clamping plate 3 and from which the force required for fixing at least one doctor blade knife 2 is applied. Inventive is that the resultant of the force exercised by the fasteners 4 points to the doctor blade chamber body 5.

The invention relates to a drive for a driving rod (1) for a window or door, wherein a toothed wheel (7) which is, for example manually controlled by a hand lever, is rotationally mounted in a housing (4). A driving rod (3) movable along the housing (4) and directly or indirectly interacting with the teeth of the toothed wheel (7) is associated therewith. The aim of said invention is to design a drive for the driving rod drive consisting of individual parts which are easily producible at low cost and mountable without any problem. For this purpose, the housing halves consist of identical plates (5, 6), the spacer (8) is embodied in the form of an angled metal sheet section which is placed between said plates and comprises at least one vertical web (15) which extends along the axis of rotation (14) of the toothed wheel (7) and is associated with said plates (5, 6) for fixing, the spacer (8) length approximately corresponds to the space between the fixing elements, and the abutments (13) are mounted on said spacer.

An elongated support bar having threaded bore at its forward end is retained in the elongated hole. A cutting head having a forward cutting portion and a rear threaded portion is retained in the support bar with its rear threaded portion threadingly engaged with the threaded bore in the forward end of the support bar.
