This state-only discussion, sponsored by the Child Welfare Technical Working Group (CWTWG) allowed child welfare information system project managers to air issues, questions, and concerns, and to develop a list of queries and comments for federal response at the end of the meeting. The topics in this open and interactive session included: Federal staff did not participate in the first half of the call, so state staff could confidentially raise topics and develop a shared list of comments and questions about CCWIS and other topics of their choice. Questions and comments were displayed on a virtual whiteboard to capture the collective voice of the child welfare information system project managers.
