Zooplankton Biomass Data from Gulf of Alaska Fjords, 2010-2011
공공데이터포털
This dataset includes zooplankton biomass from Prince William Sound, Icy Bay and Yakutat Bay, Alaska. Zooplankton were sampled with a ring net (0.6 m diameter with 211 µ mesh) on a 50 m vertical haul or to within 5 m of the bottom in shallow water. Zooplankton samples were identified to species and life stage when possible.
Glacier Runoff Biophysical Data in Gulf of Alaska Fjords, 2004-2011
공공데이터포털
In order to understand marine ecosystem responses to a range of habitat variability in coastal zones modified by glacial freshwater outflows, biophysical data were collected in three study regions that included four major glacial fjord systems around the Gulf of Alaska. Each of 172 discrete stations within the three study regions was sampled once during the peak ice-melt season in summer. A suite of geographic, oceanographic, nutrient and biological attributes was sampled at each station (see Arimitsu et al. 2008, Renner et al. 2012, Arimitsu et al. 2016 for details). This dataset includes station information, including date, time, location, distance variables that were derived in a geographic information software, and zooplankton abundance indices.
2017 zooplankton data from Lake Huron
공공데이터포털
This data release includes zooplankton data collected with a 64-micron mesh net from 9 transects in Lake Huron between April and August 2017. At each transect, data were collected at up to three sites, ranging in bottom depths from 18 to 82 m. The volume sampled at each site was estimated with a flowmeter. Micro- and macro- crustaceans were identified, enumerated, and measured using a dissecting or compound microscope. The data are in raw form.
Zooplankton Biomass Data from Prince William Sound, Alaska
공공데이터포털
These data are part of the Gulf Watch Alaska (GWA) long term monitoring program, pelagic monitoring component. This dataset consists of one table, providing zooplankton biomass data from samples collected in the upper 50 m of the water column during summer surveys in Prince William Sound, Alaska. Data include: date, time, latitude, longitude, depth, species identification, and biomass.
Zooplankton biomass (displacement volume) data collected during the NMFS Marine Mammal Survey program from Pacific Ocean from 1998-08-03 to 2006-12-05 (NCEI Accession 0071761)
공공데이터포털
Zooplankton biomass (displacement volume) data collected during the NMFS Marine Mammal Survey program from Pacific Ocean from 1998-08-03 to 2006-12-05, data were acquired from the NMFS-COPEPOD database (NODC accession 0071761)
2010-2017 zooplankton data from whole water-column tows in Lakes Michigan and Huron
공공데이터포털
This data release includes zooplankton data collected from a collaborative effort for Environmental Protection Agency’s Cooperative Science and Monitoring Initiative (CSMI). Zooplankton surveys were conducted during the growing season, from late April to early November, in two Lake Michigan transects in 2010, two Lake Huron transects in 2012, eight Lake Michigan transects in 2015, and nine Lake Huron transects in 2017. Zooplankton samples were collected by whole water-column tows at two or three stations in different bottom-depth categories (i.e., shallow, middle, and deep) in each of the transects. Due to the difference in bathymetry, some transects did not have a deep station. The shallow and middle stations have bottom depths of 11-27 m and 40-51 m, respectively, in both Lakes Michigan and Huron. As Lake Michigan is generally deeper than Lake Huron, the deep stations have bottom depths of 85-112 m in Lake Michigan and 64-90 m in Lake Huron. The dataset includes tables for sampling operation, zooplankton count, and zooplankton individual size, which may be used to derive zooplankton count or biomass per volume.
Zooplankton biomass (displacement volumes) collected in the North Atlantic during MARMAP/EcoMon-RV projects from 1977-02-13 to 2015-11-04, data were acquired from the NMFS-COPEPOD database (NCEI Accession 0051894)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains zooplankton biomass displacement volumes sampled using zooplankton nets on various platforms by the Northeast Fisheries Science Center in the North Atlantic Ocean from 1977 to 1987 as part of the Marine Resources Monitoring, Assessment, & Prediction (MARMAP) and by the Ecosystem Monitoring-Research Vessel (EcoMON RV) program from 2000 to 2015. The accession contains biomass data in long and short format as it is available in the COPEPOD program. The accession also includes the HTML files for the user to reconstruct the COPEPOD environment and search for data by platform, project, investigator, cruise and taxa. Data from this program have supported numerous analyses documenting the seasonal and inter-annual variability in the distribution and abundance of the dominant zooplankton taxa on the Northeast Continental Shelf.
