GSQOpenData@resources.qld.gov.au - EPM28415 BELL CREEK FINAL REPORT FOR PERIOD ENDING 06 MAY 2024
공공데이터포털
URL: https://geoscience.data.qld.gov.au/dataset/cr147179 The Exploration Permit for Minerals 28415 Bell Creek was granted to Yacimiento Pty Ltd for five years on 28 August 2023, and was surrendered on 6 May 2024. The EPM comprises 28 sub blocks located in the northern part of the Drummond Basin in Central Queensland. The Drummond Basin is one of Queenslands most prolific gold provinces, with past production of over 4.5M oz Au. The Bell Creek EPM was selected because it contains Drummond Basin Cycle 1 rocks Saint Anns Formation, which are prospective for epithermal gold silver mineralisation, similar to that found at the nearby Pajingo Vara Nancy and Yandan gold mines. Secondary targets include intrusive related mineralisation associated with high level, intermediate to felsic intrusions found throughout the Bell Creek tenement. The Kidston and Mount Leyshon gold mines in northern Queensland are the two most well known examples of intrusive related mineralisation. Exploration activities conducted in EPM 28415 during the reporting period mainly involved reviewing historical exploration data and creating a MapInfo GIS exploration database. The goal was to gain a better understand of the geological processes that control mineralisation at both local and regional levels, and to identify potential target areas for economic gold and base metal mineralisation. The review of historical exploration completed in the Bell Creek EPM outlined several Au, Ag, As, and Cu Pb Zn geochemical anomalies. While some of these anomalies are associated with Drummond Basin Cycle 1 rocks and coincide with favourable structural zones, they do not appear to have the potential for economic gold silver or base metals mineralisation to merit further exploration. As a result, it was recommended that EPM 28415 be surrendered.
GSQOpenData@dnrme.qld.gov.au - EPM 25816 Partial Relinquishment Report 11062021

URL: https://geoscience.data.qld.gov.au/dataset/cr124526 In accordance with the Mineral Resources Act (1989) Qld, Kronos Gold LLC (Kronos) provides below a Partial Relinquishment Report for Exploration Permit for Mineral (EPM) 25816. This report outlines the sub-blocks within EPM 25816 that form the basis for this partial relinquishment, in addition to providing a description of the work completed on these sub-blocks by Kronos Gold LLC since the tenure was granted to Kronos on 30 June 2015. EPM 25816 is approximately 300km south-west of Cairns and 35km south-west of Einasleigh, North Queensland (Data – maps – EPM 25816 location map). The project is within the Georgetown and Einasleigh 1:250,000 map sheets, and the Forsayth and Einasleigh 1:100,000 map sheets. Access to the project area is via station tracks west of Kidston and south of Einasleigh. The tenure was acquired as part of Kronos Gold’s exploration strategy to discover Intrusion-Related Gold Deposits (IRGD) (such as the Kidston gold mine) and Broken Hill Type (BHT) deposits in Queensland. The main exploration targets for the project area are gold and base metals. Kronos completed a desktop review and collected and analysed 32 separate soil and 12 rock chip samples on the sub-blocks that are the subject of this relinquishment (Data – Samples and Analysis (incl. Geochemistry). Kronos also completed a desktop study and geophysical reprocessing within the relinquished area.
