A computerized system used by Civil Rights Center management and employees to record and track Equal Opportunity (EO) complaints alleging discrimination in programs and activities that receive DOL Federal financial assistance or alleging discrimination by public entities that operate programs related to labor and the work force.

DOL’s internal EEO Complaint Tracking System; only DOL employees with EEO responsibility (Civil Rights Center staff and Workplace Equality Compliance Officers and their staff) have access to the system. Tracks the EEO complaints filed by employees of the department or individuals that have submitted applications for employment with the DOL.

These files are state and national estimations for the Civil Rights Data Collection. The 2006 estimations are based on a rolling stratified sample of approximately 6,000 districts and 60,000 schools, and on reported data from those districts that responded to the survey. Documentation is available from OCR which describes the procedures used for the estimations, including weighting of the sample, imputation for item non-response, standard errors, and quality control procedures. In addition, documentation is available from OCR for estimations that should be used with caution due to large statistical uncertainty in the estimate, including factors which contributed to the extent of this statistical uncertainty for the Civil Rights Data Collection. This hardcopy documentation, available upon request, is contained in "Civil Rights Data Collection (CRDC) Estimations and Documentation."

Data related to the adjudication of employer sanctions, immigration-related unemployment practices, and document fraud cases in front of Office of the Chief Administrative Hearing Officer (OCAHO).

Complaint information entered into NHTSA-ODI's vehicle owner's complaint database is used with other data sources to identify safety issues that warrant investigation and to determine if a safety-related defect trend exists. Complaint information is also analyzed to monitor existing recalls for proper scope and adequacy.
