Zooplankton data were taken on five cruises from 1984 through 1992 at Johnston Island, Hancock Seamounts, and Palmyra Island, the latter of which was concentrated in the coastal regime and within the lagoon. Data were collected using zooplankton net casts by the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS).
Zooplankton data from zooplankton net casts and other instruments in the Delaware Bay and North Atlantic Ocean as part of the Ocean Continental Shelf (OCS - Mid Atlantic) project, 1976-11-03 to 1977-11-18 (NCEI Accession 7800340)
공공데이터포털
Zooplankton data were collected using zooplankton net casts and other instruments in the Delaware Bay and North Atlantic Ocean from November 3, 1976 to November 18, 1977. Data were submitted by Virginia Institute of Marine Science - Gloucester Point as part of the Ocean Continental Shelf (OCS - Mid Atlantic) project. Data were processed by NODC to the NODC standard Zooplankton (F004) format. The F124 format is used for data from sampling and analysis of marine zooplankton. Information on zooplankton abundance, distribution, and productivity derived from these data support studies of marine populations and ecosystems. Data reported may include: cruise information, position, date, and time of sampling; bottom depth, sampling depths, temperature, and salinity; gear type, volume of water filtered, total dry and wet weight, and other data for total haul; and data for subsamples by species. Data on zooplankton catch by species may include subsample size, zooplankton concentration, life history code, and numbers of adults, juveniles, eggs, and larvae. Estimated density of holoplankton and meroplankton and data on ichthyoplankton may also be reported. A text record is available for comments. Note: there are two options for reporting subsample counts of individuals at different life history stages. If life history codes are used, only number of adults should be reported on that record. Additional separate records should then be used to report number of juveniles and so on. Alternatively, life history codes may not be used and number of adults, juveniles, and so entered in the proper fields of a single record.

Plankton species identification and number collected by net on three cruises from 4/2/1987 - 6/12/1989 (NCEI Accession 0000144)
공공데이터포털
The project was a multi-year observation of zooplankton during the spring bloom period in a subarctic embayment. A small vessel belonging to the University of Alaska Juneau Center for Fisheries and Ocean Sciences was used to collect the data. Collections were made twice weekly using a CalVET net and a 1-m NIO Net. The CalVET net had 165 micrometer mesh, the NIO net had 500 micrometer mesh. Three to 4 stations were sampled in the bay and adjacent inlet.

Historical phytoplankton species time-series data from the North American Pacific coast collected by W.E. Allen from 1917 through 1939 (NCEI Accession 0000725)
공공데이터포털
Diatom and dinoflagellate populations from various pier stations along the western North American coast were enumerated by W. E. Allen from 1917 through the mid-1940s. Most of the original data sheets have been archived by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO) Library. From these original records, weekly (plus some hourly and some daily) diatom and dinoflagellate species abundances from SIO, Oceanside, Port Hueneme, Pacific Grove, Farallon Islands, and Scotch Cap piers for the period 1917 - 1939 have been digitized into a format that can be read by most current computer operating systems. This Reference Series provides these data on the CD titled W.E. Allen's Phytoplankton Species Time Series Data (1917-1939) from the North American Pacific Coast.
Nutrients and zooplankton data from net and bottle casts from the ALAMINOS and other platforms from the South Pacific Ocean and other locations from 1967-01-31 to 1967-09-23 (NCEI Accession 9500089)
공공데이터포털
Nutrients and zooplankton data were collected from net and bottle casts from the ALAMINOS and other platforms in the South Pacific Ocean and other locations. Data were collected by Scripps Institute of Oceanography (SIO) from 31 January 1967 to 23 September 1967. Bottle data include concentrations of chlorophyll a, phaeopigment, phosphate, nitrate, ammonium, and total pigment. Zooplankton samples were obtained from oblique tows and parameters include maximum tow depth, total water volume passed through net, small plankton volume, total plankton volume, and standard haul factor.
